Excellent work from Alton, as always. I have absolutely loved the courses I have got from this instructor. They are just brilliant, money massively well spent. I just truly wish he had more courses, I would buy them all lmao, specially the ones related to Microsoft. Alton, you are an awesome teacher, hope to see many more courses from you. huge fan here. Cheers from Mexico City.

Although a lot of this course was knowledge that I have already learned from college or via my own personal means, it serves as a great refresher course to get you back into the swing of things. It's exactly what it says in the description - core principles and fundamentals. The only reason I didn't give you the full 5* and instead gave 4.5* was I found the pacing of the videos to be a bit slow, which you did mention in an earlier section and suggested turning up the playback speed if you felt this way. Sections 9 & 10 are things that we didn't learn or brush over in college so as someone just starting my career within cyber security or for someone who just wants to learn what's required within the workplace this served as excellent material. Thank you very much for taking your time to make this course Alton.

The interpretation & interactive way of teaching in this course has set itself on a different level than others. I have no IT background & this course has really got me the kick start I needed in this field. I surely intend to take more courses from Mr. Alton in near future. He really is a natural at this. Thank you Mr. Alton, for making it easy.

What an excellent course for beginners! I'm brand new to the field of IT and Cybersecurity. Alton is an excellent instructor - he presents information in a simple, clear fashion that I could easily follow. Such an introduction makes the field less intimidating especially when considering the amount of technical information there is to learn. The last section of this course ties it all together and explains real-world application which is so important to understand, especially if your previous career had nothing to do with IT. Thank you, Alton!

This was a great introductory course on cyber security. It's well structured, the instructor explains things clearly, and the lectures are on point and easy to follow. I especially liked having the course note handout; being able to read about the topics before watching the videos was very helpful. I also found the real world examples very interesting. I would definitely recommend this course for beginners, and would take more courses from this instructor in the future.

I complete the course. Content is basic and easy to understand. I learn a lot (new words) this is good course to beginner person like me. It is good to start from basic and understand each technical word / what is difference. I enjoy this course. They is more way to hack than I know and I have more confident when I talk to security team. Thank you, Alton, for knowledge sharing in this course.

Thanks Alton for this excellent introductory course on cyber security. Very clear and organised. And the most important thing is it is easy to understand for absolute beginners. I had a major in Economics back in University and am an absolute beginner in IT/cyber security. Have tried some other similar courses that are indicated for beginners but most of them left some technical terms unexplained. Alton provided clear explanation and I have no problem in understanding them. I am looking forward to more courses from Alton on cyber security.

This course is an excellent introduction to Cyber Security. It's well designed and to the point. The instructor is professional (He does not inundate his courses with third party adds, like other instructor at Udemy does...), he gives foundation concepts that are easy to understand. The course's structure is well designed. This is a great starting point for anyone desiring to better understand what Cyber Security is all about.
