This is an excellent course, especially if you've struggled with subnetting in the past. The instructor explains the concepts in a very clear, easy-to-understand way, and the presentation is well organized, making it easy to follow along. I also liked how the topics build on each other, so you develop a solid understanding instead of just memorizing formulas. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include a few more examples and scenario-based exercises for some of the more advanced topics, particularly VLSM and Class A subnetting. Those sections could benefit from additional real-world practice to help reinforce the concepts. Overall, this is one of the best subnetting courses I've taken, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone preparing for certifications like the CCNA or Network+, or simply looking to strengthen their networking fundamentals.

Yes, I'll will need to practice area more to really get the sub net mask definition set in my head.
By Rick Ramirez on 7/6/2026
The ping service demonstrating full command spelling for the word commands loopback and local host, you indicate that for Linux and Mac it will not ping loopback full spelling but then at the end of the lecture you say it will even though it wont. Section 4 The loop back address chapter. You might have a look an correct that. I understand the havoc this creates. But realize this is just a voice over replacement or a B-Roll correction. That would be great. 140.100.100.150 is a class B network not a class C as indicated in CH4 A Deeper dive into IP addresses and Subnet masks episode 19. Thank you for correcting this. The star rating is for the miscommunication of this one item. Not for the entire lecture.
