Very clear instructions, and a hands on experience that, I think, actually made me learn the topics quicker than a equivalent course in my university. Only thing I wish there were more course-material about was the natural language processing section. But, all in all a huge recommendation!

Great course and well explained and instructed! Jose is a very good instructor. I bought this course for my internship project. I didn't have any knowledge about data analysis with R. This course helped me understand what machine learning is in a very well resourced and explained manner! The instructor, very responsive to questions, and doesn't talk too much ( which I liked) always to the point! Bought python course with him too! I wish if he would have a Java course! Highly recommended.

Prof. Jose Portilla 's teaching method is fabulous , no suggestion for sir , but in course exercises many topics are not coverd during lectures , so please try to cover all topic and logics in lectures that's why student can be confident while solving exercises.

Pretty rudimentary stuff, guess I expected a little bit more effort. Plus, why not try and explain the statistics behind Machine Learning, instead of referring us to a book that we've already read?

Absolutely fantastic course, started with no programming experience at all and just some basic econometrics knowledge. Massively insightful and already applying bits to my current job! Also the value for money that you get with this course is just ridiculous, especially when compared to £9k tuition fees lol

Really good course for beginners, especially the introduction to R. It's a good course to understand basics of ML, but would need good investment from oneself to understand the concepts and mathematics behind as focus is more on actual running of the algorithms.

Broken down into bite size chunks and explained concepts really well even for complete novice like myself. I realised there are different ways to perform some of the tasks but a little consistency would be helpful for new learners. Perhaps expansion of the different methods in the notes would be helpful.

The course really caters to people who do not know anything about programming and helps seasoned programmers navigate through syntax differences very well! Would highly recommend it to anybody looking to pick up R but is intimidated by the prospect of programming!

Really good course to build up expertise in R. Machine learning explanation is less but adequate. Points you in the right direction if you want to explore mathematics behind the concepts. 4.5 stars for an excellent course in R and an introduction to ML concepts.

its an amazing course for beginners!! got clear idea about the use of basic data structures, helped a lot with dplyr and ggplot2 which I use quite a lot these days. I would highly recommend this course to any newbie as it gets almost all practical applications related concepts clear and walks you through the thinking process needed for a machine learning project. Thank you so much Jose
