Course Description
*Completely revamped and updated for 2023* There are many great 3d models available to download online for 3d printing, however having the ability to design your own objects opens a whole new world of opportunities for 3d printing. This is what makes 3d printing really powerful: being able to think of something you want to create, and being able to make it in the real world.
No prior 3d modeling experience is needed to take this course. It is designed for both beginners and intermediate level designers.

"Thank you very much for this. I just recently bought an Ender 3 V2 as my first 3D Printer and I ran into limitations that program gave me or just things that are actually easier to design with a more complex software. This was very helpful, keep it up!"

I'm in search for a replacement of Fusion 360 and Solidworks, blender being a viable option. This course is very well crafted, high quality, each segment building upon the previous. I had no previous experience with Blender but after taking this course I can navigate around, create and print something practical. I highly recommend this course.

I've always struggled with blender. So far explanations are straightforward, complete, and easy to follow. I would usually use Fusion 360, but there are some things that are more difficult in Fusion, such as anything with an artistic side to it.

I am getting into 3d printing as a hobby and picked blender to design in because it seems like it's less 'rigid' in what can be done. Youtube is a great tool, but this course is well organized and simple to follow. The time it's saving me by not having to surf the web for answers is well worth the money spent.

I didn't even see the time pass, great teaching, I think that for most routine items I already feel capable of designing. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Nem vi o tempo passar, ótima didática, acho que para a maioria dos itens rotineiros eu já me sinto capaz de projetar.

I found it very helpful. He makes everything seem simple and easy to understand. If you want to be a modeling master go elsewhere. However if you are just starting out and want to make useful models this is the course to take.

This is exactly what I needed. After finishing this course I feel like I have enough to start playing with the program and making stuff. I've gone through other tutorials that inundated you with every aspect of the program but I needed one that just focused on how to model for 3D printing. This is exactly what I got in this series. Thanks!

Please read my review to get a better understanding on what to expect from this course before PURCHASING. I have completed the entire course and I'm kind of disappointed. The first few section up to section 5 seem to be engaging and we make some simple model which are 3d printable. One thing to note is that here the instructor is not bothering with the measurement accuracy, So these are just trial and error model. Only measurement method is the measure tool in the Edit option in blender. There is no constrains or similar concept here which determine flexibility and accuracy of the final design. But that is okay for these little excessive. The selling point of this course is Gear Model or the final project and the 3 rd project which is a tool organizer. There is no accurate engineering way this model are developed, it's just same as instructor making YouTube video. What I mean is you will not be in a position to make your own model with accuracy at the end of this course. He is NOT showing how the Gear model is finally printed in 3D printer while all other model are shown as final product. DO NOT take a course just by seeing the promo video. This course is not good at all. Gear model in promo is made without any accuracy and printing process is not reveled for that complex Gear model. Only the blender design video which will not be useful for printing.

Curso introdutório sobre modelagem 3D, é bem básico os recursos utilizados no Blender, não diria que é um "Master" para se tornar um mestre, diria que é para se tornar um "Aprendiz". Improvement suggestions: 1. Add a more detailed section about print-in-place. 2. Improve explanation about measurement tools. 3. Add a more detailed section about positioning itens using tools to do it, instead only using G/R.

Went from extremely frustrated and confused on how to model anything for my new 3D printers, to legitimately designing things to make the same day. Extremely impressed. This is my first paid online course thing, and it really blows away trying to gather YouTube videos for an in-depth and well made instructable video or video series. Definitely hooked on that too now.

Mr. Wolfe does a good job of showing how to use Blender for 3D printing applications. It was extremely helpful that the videos display mouse clicks and keys presses as it is clear to me that using shortcuts is a key component of Blender proficiency. I personally like seeing projects/items being developed as is done in this course.
