Ethical Hacking Course: Protect Yourself From Being Hacked (Udemy.com)

Description is misleading - much of the course focuses on "here are bad things that you can do and how to do them" and little, if anything, on "here is how you stop people from doing the bad things". Enrolled specifically to learn more about SQL injection only to find that nowhere in the course is it discussed how SQL injection works or how to protect your databases from it! Waste of a good hour or two of working time...

This was a good course at one point, but a lot of it is outdated and should not be up for purchase on Udemy, in my opinion. Still a lot of good content, but to actually follow along and apply these skills are rather difficult since how old it is. You will find yourself searching on Youtube or other courses for up-to-date answers. Take it down or update the videos!

Well I can say that instructor is doing a great job. I love linux and have some experience with it. He explains everything in detail even for beginners. Perfect for myself and others who are just starting out, by this I mean that what I am learning is not intended for illegal activity but rather to protect myself and my systems I have setup. It goes back to the keep your friends close, but keep your enimeys closer.

Really, really, really interesting course if you're looking to understand basis of becoming an ethical hacker using Kali. Every concept is demonstrated and you can follow along. Teacher also encourages you to work on your own to discover all Kali's capacities. Of course, it's only basis and it requires patience and hard work for student but the course is really informative and easy to follow. The teacher is really interesting and friendly, his explanations transforms hard topics into easy ones. I hope to see you soon in another course Atil! ;)

I like to learn and the opportunity of taking an online course is awesome; I can do it from home, a cafe, a beach that has internet etc. Its really wonderful to have this flexibility and I'm excited. I bought the course a little while ago but was nervous and bound up about starting the class- I would just freeze up and not log on. Needless to say, I got past the "mental block" after listening to the instructors intro, I'm rejuvenated and even more excited to stay on task; the instructor"s style is very engaging and so i'm hooked... five stars hooked.

Great course! Mr Atil Samancioglu is a friendly @ Experienced Instructor. He tried his best to communicate all the information related to this course with students. This course is very easy to follow and understand. Overall, the course is very useful and practical in the real world and the current Generation. Enlightening, explains the theory then deep dives with examples. Knowledgeable instructor, I found this easy to follow and understand. Spent many hours between sessions applying the knowledge in labs...and plan to revisit this course as I continue to apply the knowledge learned. Enjoyed the fact of going over previous setups in order to reinforce what you have learned. This approach worked well for me, but understand where others may which to jump ahead. I would highly recommend the course and Instructor.

Addictive I always wanted to know a little bit more about hacking but could not really found time and motivation (e.g. reading books on hacking until their end). Thanks to Atil and its great course (which is very well organized), I think I will get it and be capable to reach my goal to insure a better protection to my networked computers. What is great too, is that Atil stays accessible and answer very quick and efficiently to all of my questions.

Everything is very well explained. I am following along and pretty much everything on my end works exactly like shown in the lectures. The only different thing I saw is that when I follow the instruction "airodump-ng wlan0mon" my terminal responds with "failed: No such device". If I instead type "airodump-ng wlan0" (without the "mon") then it seems to work. I'll have to figure out why this is.
