Course is great, Eduardo seems very experienced in practical development and he do his best to deliver. It's very hard to dive into more advanced topics, because resources and tools change, but this course took that challenge and its awesome. Sometimes I would be happy to see updated content because things in cloud change quickly and some parts of the project broke or were difficult to fix. Also, I would appreciate taking more slowly parts with repeating steps. Practice makes master and I got lost sometimes in fast-pasted code and rolling up and down file-to-file. Nevertheless, this course gave me a lot of insight and techniques and I learned more then I expected.

The presenter of this course is highly effective -- he clearly knows his subject matter. He is very conscientious about explaining the content and is quite methodical about showing, step-by-step, how things work. He is one of the better instructors I have encountered through the several Udemy courses I have taken. I didn't give a full five stars because some of the material is dated and no longer applicable -- this led to confusion. The downloadable code is very buggy and often wont even build. Students have identified the issues and the instructor provides solutions yet the lectures remain out-of-date. Despite this annoyance, the course is well worth the time spent. I don't believe this course is suitable anyone without coding experience especially C# you will quickly get lost. If you do take this course and get stuck read the Q&As for the module you are in--the answer is, more-than-likely addressed there.

loove it, but i am not completely satisfied since in some parts i had issues, WeatherApp when you try to search for the other city weather app crashes and also Evernote app command parameter is always sent as null when you select it and you try to add new note i can see that even on video dev had issue with that and that video was cut without any explanation why or how to fix that and just replayed. Even though i followed and completed every video, felt rlly disapointed that after completing so many hours i would end-up with downloading finished code. So i mean for start, great course, but i personally don't like when idk what happened. Still great for beginners and a lot of good examples and practices demonstrated

My opinion about the course: Money well spent. Good Job! Pros: Great Course teaches you allot about WPF to the point you can develop your own Desktop APPs. And the intro in to MVVM concept. Good and understandable tempo and voice by Eduardo Rosas, although he is not a native English speaker (the accent is not an issue at all) his speech is very comprehensible. Cons: I found that a binding in WPF itself is very basic, without diving in in to the binding options or RelativeSource , Ancestry ,Context change, Binding to async tasks* and processes etc. * Although there is a usage and implementation of async functions with WPF during the course, it was very briefly.

Хороший, качественный курс, охватывающий ряд побочных полезных технологий. Однако требует определенной базы основных знаний и по моему мнению не подходит для тех, кто не сталкивался с WPF до этого. Также столкнулся с проблемой недоступности сервиса Azure на территории РФ, поэтому, если вы из России, то скорее всего не сможете попрактиковаться в 12 и 13 разделах. Также сайт в 16 разделе является неактивным по состоянию на прохождение курса. Это не является критичным, но стоит учитывать. Главное достоинство - хороший и понятный разбор фреймворка MVVM

This is a top tier course as colt steele or andrew meads courses. Everything is clear and in small chunks,instructor is answering questions in short time and everything in the course is uptodate.(he is catching up and making new videos if something is outdated ala web api returns) Somebody mentioned codes appearing out of the blue,it is not.It is visual studio auto complete that person is confusing with,he is wrong on that one. 5 star overall,thank you for the brilliant course.

In my opinion, it is a superb WPF course. There are a couple of practical examples, which could be used in many applications. It is very hard to explain all the possibilities of that wide topic, but as I mentioned before this course is really helpful, though a couple of mistakes, for example: - in the NotesApp at one of the ending exercises, there is a small bug when we want to add a new notebook by the top menu bar. When the app's run, we log into it, and we have got a notebooks in the database, the "add note" function is disable because we did not choose a notebook, but when we do that it is still disabled. To solve that we have to add into the NewNoteCommand following lines to EventHandler add { CommandManager.RequerySuggested += value; } remove { CommandManager.RequerySuggested -= value; } The rest of the examples was explained clearly so I really recommend this course

I get really good understanding xaml and MVVM after this course. Very impressive examples. After this course I able with ease to create standard w10 UI design with common contorols. Database usage examples at basic level, SQLite. I mostly work with Oracle, MS SQL (not azure), MySQL, its architecture and implementation differs. However, messaging architecture could be better explained. About xaml design using blend - one of examples (for instance, weather) could be completely finished with some nice graphics design, with curved main wnidows and/or controls. I want thanks Eduardo for that course, amazing job! I recommend this course for all who wants to design desktop applications, even developers with experience.

Overall an excellent course. Very good for beginners and intermediate learners and would recommend it as a start. However, the only critisizm about the course that i have is wether or not learning Azure was required. While Azure is an important skill to learn I feel it was not a required section for users who just want to learn WPF. Perhaps the Azure section could of been provided in a separate course for people who want to learn this technology

First of all Thanks to the instructor he is very good, this course is Long! (if you do the programming exercises ) lots of information could be a lot to take in as you reach the halfway point, but you need to stick with it, the concepts of WPF will make you do more research from other platforms and I recommend this, to expand your knowledge and lever the basic concepts into more powerful and leaner solutions, if I have any criticism I would like to see a better explanation of more advanced binding concepts that would have its own dedicated section, important if your programming components and to touch on the basics of multithreading, towards the end it did feel a little rushed regarding unity and dependency injection but overall I would recommend this course, if you think you have finished your learning when you complete this course THINK again because it will make you want to attain an even higher level in WPF.
