Course Description
In each example, first, key formulations are provided to summary the theories. Next, you will be clearly instructed to write your FEM codes, ANSYS scripts. Every line of code will be clearly explained. After that, detailed instructions to extract results (displacements, stress, strain) from ANSYS and your FEM codes are provided. From there, you will learn how to make comprehensive comparisons between your FEM results and ANSYS to verify your codes and your understanding. This will be the best way to prove your understanding and knowledge.
Also, by practicing the examples, you can achieve very good or advanced coding skills in MATLAB and scripting in ANSYS.
Specifically, you will learn following main skills in this course:
Fundamental theories in Finite Element Analysis (FEA);
How to write FEM codes for various interesting problems of 1D, 2D, and 3D structures;
How to write advanced ANSYS scripts for various interesting problems of 1D, 2D, and 3D structures;
How to extract results from ANSYS and your FEM codes to make a comprehensive comparison.
Advanced MATLAB coding skills for FEA and plotting high-quality figures.

Excellent course for the beginners. However, it is better to refer some basic text book on FEM initially at the start of the course. Instructor has put his best effort to create this excellent content. Tip for Students: In my experience, try to go through multiple times, the first two sections. It will make life easy for the rest of the course. Humble Request: It would be better if instructor can add at least one example in Ansys WB. As a suggestion, I would also request instructor to create another course on advance topic such as FSI, Direct load application analysis (Pressure and inertia, BM computed outside), dynamic analysis, Modal analysis etc. Once again, Thanks a lot!!!

Mejorar la explicación teórica y ejercicios, además de la pronunciación es difícil entender. Las funciones que copia en el primer ejercicio de Truss en Matlab NO Explica claramente qué es cada línea de código ni para qué sirve.

The explanation of theory is not clarified properly. More detailed analysis can be added to the theory. And obviously the classes are so boring. However, the positive thing is that I have learned so many ways to solve matrix problems by enrolling this course.

The course content was awesome. He explained each and every thing very clearly. Matlab codes were so helpful for concept understanding. My only suggestion is he should have linked it with the governing equations of the problem so that the students will be able to solve any general problem of FEA.

This is the best FEA Course That I have Seen In Udemy So far. The best part of this course is Dr. Cong Tien Nguyen sir Comparing MATLAB results with APDL results at the end of every Topic. If you want to learn FEA and Want to know how FEA code works Do take this course.. trust me. you never going to get such a detailed understanding in most of the FEA courses of Udemy.

the course is well presented by the instructor and he covered the most finite element concepts in linear analysis from 1d to 3d , i have been really enjoyed the awesome lectures and materials files provided. we wish to keep on in giving other courses in more advanced topics in FEM

I just wonder why you are running this course with freely downloded codes. These codes are what I found for a while and nobody give me. You can package your codes and sell them with better price. Of couse, more work to do, but it should be better in the business perspective. By the way, your contents are very good. Much appriciated your efforts. Looking to see your next course. Cheers,

Dear Professor, Your course is very good. I got an interview last two weeks. Three questions they asked are covered in this course. I wish that I can attend your course sooner. I will have an impartant interview next week, could I contact you for some questions, please? Thank you very much. Ha

Probably the best course I’ve ever attended. I like the way you move your webcome around when you are explaining . A long course with very useful information. It should be better if you can split it to two courses and add more examples in 3D Solid. I attended many courses, and they often do that. Thanks. Zendaya

Great course again. A long course but very good. Also, thanks for your quickly response my email. I just have a stupid question for 2D plate is that why you don’t create an example of a plate and applying load in z direction. I would be nice example that I also want to see.
