The Complete FL Studio Electronic Music Production Course (Udemy.com)

I’ve always been into music but never knew how to actually make it. FL Studio seemed intimidating until I found this course. It made everything click. The pace was perfect, and the explanations were super clear, even for someone like me with zero background in music theory or production. Now I’m making full tracks on my own, experimenting with sounds, and actually enjoying the process. This course gave me the confidence to call myself a producer. Huge thank you to the instructor for putting this together!

I’ve taken a few online music production classes before but none of them went into as much depth as this one. The instructor doesn’t just skim the surface, he really shows how everything works in a way that’s easy to understand. The best part for me was finally learning how to mix properly without second guessing every single knob. My tracks are already sounding way cleaner

I’ve used FL Studio for a while, but I was never truly confident in my skills until I took this course. The lessons are extremely detailed and easy to follow. What really stood out to me was the full song walkthroughs. Seeing a track come together from scratch gave me so many ‘aha’ moments. This course didn’t just teach me how to use the software, it helped me actually finish my tracks with confidence.

Good effort. I feel like this corse lacks explanation in some areas and can come across slightly confusing in specific parts. The organisation could be better with each video. I would recommend this corse to beginners with some knowledge on how to operate the DAW.

Overall the course is a mixed bag. It has some really great content, but then there are some areas that need improvement. The course is called "Complete FL Studio 24" but I believe all of the software used is FL Studio 21. It's most the same with some subtle changes that did trip me up briefly. The instructor has some really great tips and explains some very helpful concepts. Playing the song back in the car is a nice learning moment to see how well the piece works. He spends a lot of time on balance and discusses why he's making the change he is making. There's a lot of great content for people new to FL Studio. The instructor is very knowledgeable. Showing how to re-create a song from listening to it is a very valuable skip and gives key learning moments. On the other hand, I think the course is out of date in some places. Serum and Arcade don't appear to have free trials anymore. Arcade is recommended but not actually used in the course. Additionally the chord pack used in the course is no longer free, and must be bought separately. You can't follow along in the course without paying for that extra pack. Section 7 just ends abruptly with no further content. He discusses making changes in the upcoming sections, but the course just ends. In other parts, he spends a lot of time testing different sounds to see what sounds nice. I think doing that one or two is valuable for students, but after that it becomes diminishing returns. There's not much more to learn there, so it feels like those sections should skip to the final notes for people following along. It's hard to follow along when someone is just testing and removing things every couple seconds. There's not much discussion in these parts either, so I think they could be shortened. Overall I feel like I learned a lot, but I had to go to the community questions at the bottom to understand parts that were skipped or missing.

Really great course. Learned a lot on arrangement and discovering sounds. Not sure why some people disliked the portions where he is looking for sounds and trying to get the sounds right, but I really enjoyed that portion. I would pause it and try to find sounds or notes that I thought sounded good and compare to see what he found. Great Course!

I was producing with FL Studio for three years, already, before I found this online course. I enjoy obtaining a certificate, which gives proof, that I worked.
