I love the course it really got me up to speed for my trip to France. I’m very disappointed because he says in the course that it’s part 1 of 4 courses but I can’t seem to find the past 3 courses and now I’m trying to find a program with similar techniques.

I really like The Method. It's brilliant and the best way to learn any language, I think. I have found it when I used to learn Spanish and I am happy with the French course too. I can't wait for Course 2. Please carry on :)

I've done Peter Hanley's Spanish course and I really like the format. He teaches you how to construct sentences, rather than just parroting the audio like some courses do. I really like that it has a really clear, simple format - the new words are written on screen, you repeat them, you are asked questions, given the answer as audio and then see it on screen. I really like that he was a native speaker, Marion, so you can check your pronunciation, and I like that this has a transcript at the end of the course. Also, it's fun! Peter adds a bit of humour and I have enjoyed taking the course. The course goes at a slow steady pace and doesn't rush. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is I'm not sure if it is enough to learn French on its own - I am also using Living Language French to get more background on vocab, verb conjugation etc. but this is a really fun supplement and I would definitely recommend.

Really good course! I have learnt more in the first 3 lessons than I did in 5 years of French lessons at school. Would highly recommend this course, think I'm going to give the Spanish a go once I've finished. I really like how the course tackles the most important things first like how to ask for a beer!

I enjoyed the experience and I made good progress in every lesson. I particularly like the way the course is structured, giving the opportunity to practice and re-cycle language while also adding new vocabulary and structures at each stage. I love the use of the native French speaker Marion for me it just adds to the authenticity. Highly recommended.
