Course Description

In this course we cover some useful methods for creating curved bodies. We learn how to reference a sphere in order to create a curved extrusion. Webriefly jump into the Patch environment and learn how to make a custom surface from two spline curves. We also cover how to add curved text to your model. Apply these methods while modeling a beautiful fully ready to 3D print Wonder Woman Tiara.

The second part of the course we will review our model and look at what design changes we need to make in order to optimize it for 3D printing.

By the end of the course students will have learned the skills necessary to design custom curved geometry intheir models. Students will also have learned useful skills in preparing their prints for 3D printing.
Who this course is for:
Anyone interested in developing their skills in Autodesk Fusion 360Anyone wanting to learn how to optimize their designs for 3D printing

Great Course. Always learning new things.

good introduction to working with curved surfaces.
Interesting that now I am pre-empting with the methods I would use to achieve this and seeing if the results are the same.

This course taught me everything I needed to know about curved bodies in Fusion 360. The model for this course teaches ways around problems lesson by lesson. I would definitely recommend this course to anybody who has a general background with Fusion 360.

Still very good, but not as good as the other courses by Vladimir. Recommend putting the image used in the resources so everyone is using the same one. Mine was different which caused some issues.

Very good but wish it was with the new Fusion 360 interface.

It was difficult for me to get through. Some concepts and techniques that I wasn't familiar with caused me some problems. The tutorial was well explained and I'll come back to it after I gain more experience with Fusion 360.

A great course for learning to use curved surfaces. I was pleased and recommend the course as well worth the price. I had a little trouble finding the patch environment with the new interface. A note that these commands have moved to the "SURFACE" tab in the design environment would be very helpful.

I really enjoyed the course. Learned to use surface patch tool a little bit. Fun project and friendly instructor. Will take more courses from him in the future!

This was so much fun. I thought I would have more trouble with it.

Nice course well presented with plenty of little hints and tips that should keep me making things and coming back to look up different ways of doing things within Fusion 360. Nice work. 10 out of 10
