I'm new in DevOps and for now I like it how it is explained.

By Amrish Pathack on 8/16/2020

Hardly any examples to illustrate the theory.

By Steve Wightman on 8/9/2020

While there is good information here, it is almost impossible to follow and actually LEARN instead of dumbly watching. Instructor moves way too fast, glosses over or doesn't even mention commands he types, offers no explanation of what you're doing (do this, do this, do this)... Decent *information*, poor *training*.

Technically good, but seems the slides need to be updated, as there are many updation in the technology.

I had a simple question during this course when the instructor went from 1 step to another, but did not explain how he did that. I sent a question and the instructor took FOUR months to reply. It totally threw me off and I could not even continue my learning in this area. I have since found a better site and am getting ready to delete my account.

Wonderful overview of all things DevOps has to offer!

By Philippe Sall on 6/4/2020

This course did allow me to get a good basic overview of Devops tools and to play with cloud environments which I never did before. As I am not a coding expert at all, I encountered some issues as course materials (scripts) are now 3y old and some fails. Also some cloud interfaces/features slightly evolved over the time and the course do not match them anymore. The course is very instructive but it will be great to have a slight refresh of scripts and a few presentations to match 2020 reality's.

It was a great intro to DevOps, some resources need some updates (maybe to be added in notes form).
I did not notice the minimum OS requirements for the resources in the course and had to switch computers half way in. Maybe minimum computer requirements should be also mentioned somewhere ( platform - OS). Overall a great experience and highly recommended for people looking for an intro into DevOps and its tools.

Enjoyed learning

By Jonathan Kuhn on 3/9/2020

The course is severely outdated. While concepts remain similar, the implementation is, in some cases, completely non-applicable. I'm about finished with Section 5 (which has been a nightmare to get through). While I have learned some things, I certainly wouldn't consider this a "Masterclass" with the current state of the content. With how broken some of the cloud instructions are, I'm not entirely sure that I'll even be able to finish the rest of the course (where you are suppose to combine everything). I will be updating the review once I either finish the course, or hit a virtually impassible point.

yes its not completed yet but the journey so far is nice .............the speed of teacher is nice dont change it its compatible to me ,,,,,,hope the further vidoes will be amazing

By Jeff Ely on 2/27/2020

The Openstack installation scripts did not work. They would error out before completing.
The scripts to deploy Rancher also did not work.
