SQL is a language. Specifically, the "Structured Query Language"
PostgreSQL is one of several database systems, or RDMS (Relational Database Management System). PostgresSQL is one of several RDMS's, others of which are Oracle, Informix, MySQL, and MSQL.
All of these RDMSs use SQL as their language. Each of them have minor variations in the "dialect" of SQL that they use, but it's all still SQL.

Which is better, PostgreSQL or MySQL?
Both are excellent products with unique strengths, and the choice is often a matter of personal preference.

The course may have slight details such as not accepting correct answers if the verb i.e. SUM() is not in mayus, but overall it completely covers the range of SQL topics in an extremely structured bit boring could be but highly didactic format. I have to state knowledge sticks with taking the course and making some notes.

The course was extremely extensive and thorough, and if you are committed, it enables learning about SQL from scratch and immediately practicing it both on PgAdmin and BQuery. If followed with practical examples and doing all the exercises, by the end of the course you will feel like you can confidently use both PgAdmin and BQuery. Downsides: - BQuery gets updated very often, and it took me some time to adjust to using it, as the course does not use the same BQuery version, as I did. I also chose this course, because it was the most recently updated one on Udemy that teaches BQuery use. - Although a practical tool, it was very frustrating to do some Coding Exercises, as they required for the coding to be word by word. Even though I did a lot of these exercises correctly, and have gotten the same results, I have gotten a 'Fail' because I used a space after comma, or before brackets (which does not affect the code!).

One of the excercises used subqueries before even they were introduced. Also - now the view in Google BigQuery is a bit different - but I understand that it's a dynamic, constantly updated tool and it would be difficult to record a new video after each update. Cool course - I am certainly better now than before it :)

This is an amazing and exhaustive course, covering most of the important SQL commands. Some may say that a lot of commands have not been covered by this course. Its true, but no single course can teach all the topics in SQL, which is really very vast. But once a person is aware of how SQL works and becomes comfortable with it, then it is just a matter of going to Google and searching for what additional information one wants. I would like to thank the instructors for such a marvellous course.

Good Course for people looking to learn SQL + BQ and also act as refresher for people lost touch. Some concepts are left midway mentioning the complexity, probably you can add some additional reference links to learn more about those for interested students. Nevertheless good course delivered in right pace

Dear Star-Tech Academy, Just completed the course. Thanks for the course. This is a good course for the beginners. I was expecting some advance topics and more detailed topics on GCP Bigquery. However as mentioned, this is suitable for the beginners.
By Michael Swift on 3/9/2022
Very good course. Excellent examples and a thorough explanation of each area. If you're taking this course only for Google BQ (as I did), don't skip over the PostgreSQL lectures. Some concepts are explained more deeply in PostgreSQL than in the Google BQ.
By Abhishek Dixit on 10/16/2021
This course is good for beginners and it has a good coverage along with decent examples. The Postgres and Bigquery go in parallel so you can compare the syntactial differences. The authors can next come up with intermediate level course with advance SQL, architecture coverage and optimization in depth.
