Google Looker Masterclass: Looker & LookML A-Z 2026 (Udemy.com)

While the course is still useful, the Looker sandbox has moved and the data is different in many ways. The course can still be completed searching for Looker Qwiklabs but following along exactly is not possible. While the material is still good, the course could use an update to reflect this.

Hi , Iam assigned a new Project in my Company which has Tech Stack as Looker . I need guidance on upskilling to get equipped to start the project . Thanks !

I would recommend this course to someone who is at the entry point in Looker or working on other BI tools

Overall I think I learned everything I needed to know from this course. However, there is definitely some room for improvement. For most of the course, I simply had to watch and take notes as the Looker sandbox suggested timed out after an hour. Additionally, most of the development learning for LookML was not possible as you had no access to the database information. This means there is very little hands-on learning for the course which some people, like myself, prefer. I think if that element of the course was updated to something that was more usable for hands-on learning I would give this course another star and suggest it to others.

Excellent content, easy to understand. Only thing is missing out end of the course there should be additional lecture to create interactive professional Dashboard [Its already there in the course but somewhat basics]. However, liked the content, course material and oncourse the instructor. Thank you.

Would like to request the team to bring up more courses and detail of all topics from different connections like big query, amazon redshift etc and show us real projects apart from sandbox. Thankyou and waiting for more courses on Looker.

Really good course, this course dives depper on LookML so I was able to expand my previous knowledge of the tool. Instructors are well versed and explanations are clear and to the point. Really satisfied with what I have learned.

I have always loved the courses from Start Tech, the way of teaching style is amazing, it has calming effect, explantions are superb, this is my first purchase on udemy while I have 300+ coursed in my list, but purchased only this because in the past I have gone through free starttech courses and realized that they have true potential.
