Course Description
How many times have you found yourself knee-deep in generic ChatGPT results, spending more time reworking than it would have taken to just work from scratch? Whatever happened to the promise of AI tools bringing us productivity without sacrificing quality?
The fact is this: Getting great writing results with ChatGPT isn’t just possible…it’s actually pretty easy. But only with the right approaches, the right prompts, and a deep understanding of how to truly become a curator with a vision in the era of AI.
That’s the focus of this course. Broadly, you will learn to become a prompt engineer and create your own prompt library filled with multi-step prompts that give you great results for whatever you may need to write. No more generic results!
On this journey, you'll discover the three powerful writing approaches that deliver on every front: quality, accuracy, consistency, versatility, and more. We’ll go over the specific multi-step prompts to build an intuition for when to use a given approach, and how to combine them as needed, whether you're crafting professional emails, persuasive cover letters, insightful articles, blogs, meticulous performance reviews, succinct meeting notes, compelling business proposals, empathetic customer service responses, razor-sharp presentation outlines, engaging scripts…literally whatever!
Note: For most of the course, we will be working in GPT-4 from OpenAI, but most of what we cover can be applied to GPT-3.5 and Bard (with varying results). This is not a technical course, meaning that no coding skills are required.
This course is NOT a theoretical lecture series—it’s jam-packed with real-world examples from beginning to end. This way of learning will be critical in mastering the approaches and building your own prompt library. You'll get your hands dirty with a treasure trove of innovative prompts, learning to utilize them effectively and shape them to your unique needs.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
Craft and iterate prompts to get consistently solid results
Fine-tune instructions to match your unique writing style (or any other style)

Create a custom well-organized prompt library for any task
Use ChatGPT as an elite proofreader/copyeditor capable of high-level feedback
Implement evaluation guidelines within ChatGPT to get more accurate and consistent results

Automate writing tasks (hello, Zapier) using the ChatGPT API
So, what are you really getting from this course? Essentially, it’s a blueprint for becoming a prompt engineer for all writing use cases. By the end of the course, you will have everything you need to get great results.
This is how you transform ChatGPT into your personal, turbo-charged writing assistant.
Are you ready to unleash the power of ChatGPT? Ready to enter the AI era fully equipped to create whatever your mind can dream up? If so, sign up now.

Luke is clearly a natural, but practiced teacher. And he has created a well-thought out curriculum. I’ve taken several similar courses, but his is more thorough without being boring. I picked up a lot of new and useful tips that I can apply immediately.

This has been a useful course. I have used it to summarize you tube transcripts. ChatGPT is really effective in delivering effective summaries for you tube sessions that I do not have time to listen to. The general approaches mentioned are also helpful.

It took me a while to complete the course (my fault), but once I regained my enthusiasm for ChatGPT, this course proved invaluable. Luke has created a genuinely useful resource for getting the most out of ChatGPT (And other LLMs, too). Rather than asking for something generic, I've now learnt to encourage these tools to deliver something more akin to my own voice, which is proving invaluable in so many ways. The course hasn't been updated for a while but that's not necessary as the principles apply to whichever version of generative AI you're using. Thanks, once again!

Excellent course. I found it very helpful!! I would like more inforrmation on the knob options and how to use them in CHATGPT. More information on how to obtain transcripts from You Tube videos would be helful. Gerald

The course was quite helpful! It goes beyond mere writing-related tasks to explain how ChatGPT can be utilized for brainstorming, ideation, and other professional endeavors. Recommended for anyone looking to utilize GPT for their work more effectively.

I already knew quite a lot of the content but I did get some new ideas from watching this course, which is why it is worth doing. I think the presenter is very clear but sometimes explaining the tasks before doing them, then explaining again while doing them was a bit tedious. It would be better to briefly explain the outcome, then spend time explaining the process while doing it. All in all, a thorough, informative course that most non-experts will get a lot out of.

A fantastic match for me. A master craftsman shares practical approaches to crafting my bespoke library of prompts. Great for beginners and advanced users. The three approaches of outlines and knobs, building from templates, and the Star Trek computer are helpful to beginners, and the detailed use cases bring everything home for us advanced users. Thank you!

I liked the introduction to the course. It was interesting and informative, but there were some aspects like using to-the-point and accurate prompts which I was already familiar with. The examples were demonstrated very thoroughly, which is a plus point of this course, especially for those who are very new to ChatGPT and its usage.

The most comprehensive course on ChatGPT I know. A simple yet powerful methodology from the start to the end. I really appreciated what I have learned and done with these new skills. The specificity of the approach lies in giving that kind of intuition for creativity, not just the prompts "for doing this or that" but the whole process of thinking while using ChatGPT. At the end of the course, you feel empowered and confident enough to execute different types of projects... not only about writing. I also appreciate the overall rhythm of the course. While I am not a native English speaker, I was able to understand and apply by myself almost all the content. Thank you Luke Priddy for all that great knowledge you share.
