Course Description

* Updated for the 2024 CISSP curriculum and 2023 exam registration process *

Welcome, I am Thor Pedersen, and I am here to help you pass your CISSP certification.

With over 790,000 enrollments from 209 countries, my CISSP, CISM, and Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) courses are both the “Best Selling” and “Highest Rated” here on Udemy.

In this course I will cover how to approach practice tests, how to deconstruct practice questions, time management, how to make your own CISSP study plan, and finally you get 125 HARD CISSP questions in a full CISSP practice test.
The questions on these tests have the same domain weight as the real CISSP exam questions does.

Getting your CISSP certification now is a very smart career move.

1. The CISSP certification is the gold standard for IT Security certifications.

2. There are more than 82,000 job openings for CISSPs in the US.

3. The average CISSP salary in the US is over USD150,000 a year.

What our other students are saying about my CISSP courses:

  • I passed the CISSP with the ISC Book and Thor's lectures and practice questions. Enough said! (Warren, 5-stars)

  • Hi Thor, I used your test and videos and passed the exam at first attempt. I scored your tests above 75% and real test was bit challenging than them. Thank you Shan (Shan, 5-stars)

  • I just passed my CISSP and used your question banks for study. All domains were covered and explanations on the questions were through. (John, 5-stars)

  • Of all the practice tests have paid for this one is the most helpful because it gave precise results so I am able to focus on the week points. I also appreciate how quickly Thor updated the test to reflect the new CAT style exam. (Kim, 5-stars)

  • This is my third course experience and Thor is my third instructor. I gave Thor a 5-star because of his knowledge, his grasp of English language, and his attitude. I love how Thor can explain complicated concepts clearly and make them easy to understand. I love how humble and polite his attitude is. I also like the fact that he is attentive and responsive to my questions. (Jin, 5-stars)

At the end of the test you will get an explanation for each question and explaining to why the right answer is the right answer.

You can see the total percentage score for the entire test as well as a weighted percent score for each of the 8 CISSP domains.

You can review each question and sort them by CISSP knowledge area, correct answers, wrong answers, skipped questions and questions marked for review.

The questions on these tests have the same domain weight as the real CISSP exam does.

  1. Security and Risk Management – 20 questions

  2. Asset Security – 13 questions

  3. Security Engineering – 15 questions

  4. Communications and Network Security – 15 questions

  5. Identity and Access Management (IAM) – 16 questions

  6. Security Assessment and Testing – 14 questions

  7. Security Operations – 20 questions

  8. Software Development Security – 12 questions

I recommend students to do 1,500-3,000 easy/mid CISSP practice questions and 1,000-1,500 HARD CISSP practice questions before the exam.

I only know of 3 hard CISSP practice sets: my own hard questions, Boson questions, and SNT. Wentz Wu also has hard questions on his CISSP blog, but not as full practice tests.

Do multiple CISSP certification practice tests like this one, do the full 3 hours and 100-150 questions to see how you handle it. This is as much mental stamina and reading the questions right and answering from an IT Security manager's point of view, as it is the actual knowledge.

You can take this CISSP certification practice test as many times as you want, the questions and the answer order is randomized.

On hard questions, you will score lower. It is normal to score 80%+ on easy/mid questions and 50-60% on hard questions.

The point of all questions is to find the gaps in your knowledge, learn how to deconstruct questions, argue WHY the answer you chose is the RIGHT answer in this scenario, making you ready for exam day.

Prepare for the 2026 version of the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification Exam.

I just have impression that explanation like better practise, most commonly used is sometimes not eanough to justifiy the choice. It would be also great if explanations are better depicted in the explanatory field Answer A: Correct because Answer B: Incorrect becasue Answer C: Incorrect becasue Answer D: Incorrect becasue Placing each option explanation in separate line will boost readibility and speed of reading and understanding it

I had a great time interacting with the questions. Prayer up as I sit for my exam

I have cleared my CISSP exam on 1st attempt after 100 questions - thank you, Thor, this was mainly due to watching your Bootcamp! The questions are OK but they don't reflect the real exam well. They are a bit too technical and too specific and exam questions are of different type. I recommend Think Like a Manager and Coffee Shoths from Prabh :)

By Matt Coffey on 7/14/2024

This was good; however, I disagree with one the answers to the question: "Which project management tool would be the BEST to determine how long a security project should take to implement?" A) Gantt Chart B) The ideal path C) The SWAT charts D) Critical path The correct answer is "D" - Critical Path. However, I don't believe critical path is necessarily a "tool." Instead, the tool is "The Gantt chart" which contains the critical path. Please let me know if I'm wrong here, but classifying critical path as a tool doesn't seem right to me. I did some research on google as well and it seems that the tool that contains the critical path is the Gantt chart.

It is definitely an excellent match for me because it touches on some key practical concepts that can open the door to passing the exam.

By Derrek Hicks on 4/24/2024

Good explanation of what to expect from the exam and how to approach the questions.

By Aldebarán Díaz on 3/26/2024

Great questions that allow you to change your mindset on how to understand and answer the CISSP exam questions.

By Anderson Lacruz on 10/25/2023

Some few questions will need som rewording and some specific answers are questionable.

By Robert Żegleń on 6/1/2022

Thor's videos, his pdf printouts and his question bundles were my primary source of knowledge/study for the exam which I have just passed. Contact through discord was great. Of course I supplemented hist materials with one other complete video and ISC2 questions bank

By Damian Leger on 12/14/2021

Like it. But, while extremely useful work, the tests will give a passing grade even when 70% was NOT scored in ALL 8 domains as the real test WILL. Not sure if the system will allow you, but test scoring output system should only show pass if >70% is achieved in all 8 domains. Thanks.
