It's a very good course for someone who don't know anything at all about this great topic. Not to mention its ONLY course here on topic of Web Workers.

'In Depth' in title is a bit over overstatement but its great resource for someone who's look for introduction to Web Worker in concise and to the point manner.

Could do with couple of examples of in what cases Dedicated and Shared Workers are used in real world.

I would not call this an in-depth course. I got more information from Web Workers on MDN than from this course, plus MDN is updated and touches other topics to consider like thread safety, transferring objects for better performance and and what you can or cannot do from Web Workers.
