Great visuals and explanations on each section. Very easy for a beginner to follow along and understand. highly recommend this course for some history and in depth explanations.

I'm probably not the central target demographic for this course, but it still proved useful. I'm a computer technician with degrees in English and Graphic Arts, who has done a fair amount of training and documentation as secondary job functions.

I learnt a lot in this course. A lot of it was stuff I knew from my previous design classes, however I did not expect how that knowledge would be complemented in each of the sections. The Character drawings were cute as well.

I’m currently working through this course, and I really love it! This course is constantly updated, which is a big plus. The author keeps adding new sections with more theory and examples that fit nicely into the overall structure. She clearly shares all the new info in the course announcements and on YT, along with extra comments and context. You can really tell Ruth is passionate about the topic, and it’s great to see her active on the internet (blog, YT). It makes the course feel even more alive and keeps me engaged. The content is great – it’s well structured, giving me enough direction and allowing me to dig deeper on my own if I want to. So far, it’s been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn :)

generally it's ok and a good overview. For me there is too much time spend on historical background while most more concrete topics treated superficially.

This course was much longer than I anticipated and for good reason. It started off with basics and showed a history of HCI that I have no prior information of. I really enjoyed the concise structure and various examples used to explain many psychological concepts which were new to me as I am a software developer. I highly recommend this course!

Such a lot packed into the course. Left me with a lot to think about it and handy references. I have found some courses rather light on content. No such problems here. Very friendly instructor, fun examples and a lot of useful information.

I didn't have much of an idea as to where all this might be useful to me, but after having gone through the course, i understand that for any purpose wherein you have to design sth to be used by other beings, or use technology to interact with machines/do your stuff, its really imp to know how to approach the problem, which was explained in the course. As a quant researcher at a bank, i need to think how traders might use modeling techniques to be able to forecast/predict numerous values, and this might help to narrow the process :)

I don't work in the field of IT, but found the course easy and fun to do, I learnt a lot about how our personal data is used online (scary stuff) and was inspired to use the skills over learned and design an app which people found useful. ...looking forward to to tarot app too. Thanks Dr Ruth for your support throughout nothing was to much bother .
