The course is missing quite a few lectures as of 2020. Instead, the instructor has slides that say "Video lecture is in progress" or "In the coming lecture we'll cover X, Y, Z" -- except.. it's never covered. The content that is included is out of order from how it's introduced at the start, so if you're taking notes, it's very challenging to match the content with its place within the original overview. Additionally, some lectures are audio only, so you're left staring at a blank screen (without the option of closed captioning). Unfortunately, because everything is out of order, you can't really tell that some promised content will never be covered until you finish the program. Otherwise, the content that IS there is great. The instructor is engaging and does seem quite knowledgeable. Just wish that the program was actually finished before being sold to students. If it were, I would surely look for more classes with this instructor. At one point the instructor warns about over-stretching (being a "yes" person); it seems like that's exactly what happened here and the project was simply neglected in final editing.

Barely 20 minutes into the course and we get peppered with glowing remembrances of Communist butchers. This is the second Udemy course so far that has been a disappointment. Just got bombarded with a photo of a dude with his toe nails painted. Unbelievable. Overall the actual instructional material is well thought out and well presented. Adding a downloadable syllabus/course outline would've been helpful.

I am into content writing, training, learning and development segment of my organisation so I had been eager to pursue a course of Instructional Designing to enhance and upgrade my skills as it is quite much associated with my core domain. Fortunately I got this course and learned new things which opened up my opportunities in far better way. A very well designed with systematic approach and interactive study materials led to better understanding of the subject.

This course was very helpful to get an idea on how to prepare training material, how adults prefer to learn, how to keep it interesting etc! It covered a lot of my questions as a novice to giving training sessions and I feel much more prepared to take it on now. I also loved the personal touches Jacqueline put in, to keep it entertaining throughout!

The Audio is great. The content mentioned and provided is also good. However, my only concern happens to be the use of certain technical words(more like document tag nos / template or short forms used) If those can be mentioned or stated in brief it would be great. I would certainly like to indulge in more courses like this one.

I signed up for the course to get direction on designing training materials. Although, I took time to complete the course and did that over the few days (months :)) with lot of breaks in between each session. What amazed me was I was able to remember what I learned in the previous sessions in spite of the breaks and this is due to the captivating lectures and course flow designed by the Trainer. Many Thanks to Ms Seidel

Handful of lectures didn't have the video yet. They should have been discussed in detail than just having short text overviews. A list of references or readings would have been beneficial in those situations. I love the videos with interviews with 2 professionals. Those made me feel I am not alone with my struggles. Great outline, handouts are useful, overall a really great course!

A good amount of time was spent by the trainer talking about herself. The scope of the training is excessively broad, and does not fit the title of the course (a course on corporate learning, yet visuals show chalkboards in school classrooms and stories often feature language training). A significant portion of the content shows a silent slide that says "video is being prepared for this section, we'll let you know when it is ready" (I am paraphrasing), and detracts from the value of the course. I found myself speeding through portions of the class where the content wandered, the discussion took unnecessary detours, or the focus of the lecture was on the lecturer.

Lots of good nuggets of information to use. Although I didn't prefer the audio only sessions, I realize that there are different styles of learners and the method might be preferred by others. I do appreciate that you presented your material in several formats for different learning styles. I would like to have had a word document with the session titles highlighted points that I could have used to take notes. Several of the sessions still (after two years) have a simple message that the video module is in process and will be uploaded soon. I feel a little short changed that the training was not complete. Perhaps simply removing the sections if there will be no video upcoming would be better that a promise unfulfilled. Overall, a good start for trainers.

A really good course for the novice and experienced trainer, like myself. If you want to learn about good training practice and methodology this course gives both. I chose the course so I could refresh my personal skills to ensure that "I still knew my stuff", and to learn something new which I certainly did. I will most definitely be using the PROMOTING mnemonic in my course design and delivery. I would have given the course 5 stars but couldn't because I am an IT trainer using different IT systems, and there was little focus in that area, and IT training is widely used in corporations big and small. However, a large amount of what I learnt on the course I currently use and could use in my work. The resources are good, especially the customisable ones which, again for the novice trainer, serves as a good bank of documents to add to your training design/development repertoire. A great course that you will want to revisit time and time again.
