I'm an industrial designer who's been working in the field full-time since 2011.I've tackled projects for big corporate clients, small startups, individual inventors, and I've even launched a few products of my own. Most of my time has been spent creating industrial and consumer hard goods, but lately I've added some gaming and entertainment design into the mix. I have extensive experience in both the 2D (sketching, rendering, story-boarding) and 3D (Rhino) sides of the business.

I had some great teachers along the way, and my goal here is to produce the at-your-own-pace reference material I wish I'd had when I was learning the ropes.

I am an Industrial Design Student myself and I took this course, being new to this type of sketching. It is really good if you are a beginner to Industrial sketching and helps you understand the basic mechanics of it. But I wouldn't recommend it if you are already familiar with most basic concepts and looking for something more.

Hi,
Thank you for creating such a nice, informative and full of basics lessons.
I just have a single complain if the screen is more zoomed or more clear it will be best.
Actually in some lessons guide lines are not visible properly.

I drew at the same time as he was giving his explanations. I was able to do a lot of sketchs. I think he could make his drawing darker. I had a lot of difficulty to seeing his sketchy lines.
