the copy paste part at the beginning was disturbing, but good content in general just avoid copy paste even if you are going to explain later most firebase functions wasn't explained (what is firestore, how it works, when its free, when it starts cost money ... ) then with code inside Auth function what happens ... i maybe wrong if the tutorial is for advanced levels then it's cool

This tutorial is a real world case not like many other course, David show you how to use class and function in a real production app. I believe a course should be like this, teaching you the structure how a real app made in company like startup so the developer when they jump in tech company, they have prepare for a course like this.

Excellent course and David is a great instructor! One thing to mention though is that this course is not designed to help you build a messenger app that can scale and be used in the real world and is really just for testing purposes. However still a great course, David also responds to any questions really quickly and is always incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!

The course is pretty good. Instructor usually responded promptly. Highly recommended if anyone wants to learn about swift and make an awesome app. The only thing I would like to mention that if the instructor can keep updating certain detail, the course would be better. Since those languages and tools vary frequently, keep updating the details is helpful for the people who purchase in the future.

This guy is very responsive with any issues that you may have. And I enjoyed the course. He still gotta work on his accent and being a bit more energetic/enthusiastic. And it's not a beginners course ;)

This is a very well done course. It's great to have an Swift course that teaches you how to build a real world application programmatically! This is a complete programmatic approach to creating everything for the app. Also the instructor is incredibly responsive to questions. I got same day answers to my questions and they are always helpful. David’s support is fantastic. All of you know the other popular instructors with thousands of students and 4/5 star ratings right? Well, let me tell you, their content is good, but their apps are not production quality apps. All the other courses teach you Swift basics or give you half-completed apps you have to spend months on trying to complete. David’s app are complete.

This course goes into so many details of building a chat app. The course is more than complete. I'm halfway through and the instructor covers every subject. He gives some of the code but explains what the code does. There are a few things here and there that he could also cover that would make following the course easier but no course is perfect. There is also some background sounds that he could have just edited but they do not take away from the enormous​ amount of material he goes through in this course.

I really enjoyed this course! The content is very useful and provides an excellent way to learn by doing, which I believe is the best way to go. Great app, interesting code, and definitely a way for me to stretch my coding skills while building something useful to me and applicable to my friends. Thanks for the great work, David!

Hello , This was the only course which i completed fully on udemy. I have enrolled in many but as time passes i tend to loose interest. This is very interesting course and i have actually learned a lot in this course. Detailed explanation. Friendly nature, made sure to cover almost all the topics. About David he is truely a great teacher and will help you in all the question and problems not only related to the course but if you have any doubts he will still find out time to help you if not at-least guide you in proper direction thats what i liked about him. its a cool application by I think the instructor really don't care about code organization, but its comprehensive because he never mentioned it as part of the curriculum, but I think the code is really messy you could easily been improved and I don't think the app is scalable at all
