I have only just begun this journey of 3d modeling/animation -- I started with Blender, and decided quickly that I'd also like to be able to utilize my iPad and Apple Pencil. I happened upon this course -- and ALREADY -- I can understand exactly what is happening, and I am so excited to be able to use this in tandem with the other courses in my library. Thank you so much!

I was not impressed by the lack of tool coverage. Covering only the five useful tools feels like a selfish time saver. If one is going to offer a tech tutorial, one aught to cover all aspects. If I had paid anything more than sale price. I would have been extremely disappointed

I'm not good at listening to English, but it's useful to have English subtitles.

In my opinion, I think the course was too brief. It was more about the basics of the app for a beginner. There should be more chapters to demonstrate how to use the tools efficiently. I was hoping to see how to create(sculpt, paint etc) game assets. The last chapter had a time lapsed video of how the instructor created a Frankenstein head, with commentary. It was helpful but I rather see the whole process slowly.

I appreciate this course because it is pretty much the best one around for this app, that I have been able to find. There aren’t many out there. Most are not courses, but just time-lapses. I appreciated that he had a time lapse at the end of the course where he demonstrated some of the techniques for the brushes that he used. I loved that he went over the brushes, and what they did. As the course was about sculpting characters, I would have loved additional segmented videos on just that. How do you approach a nose, how do you put 2 eyes in a sculpture, how about masking and how he would subtract shapes from other shapes etc. it would be good to have a class that gives some guidance via actual projects to get familiar with the brushes. Maybe one segment would show just the nose sculpt with some thoughts and techniques on how to do that, and then have you go do them too, eventually culminating in an entire face. How would I approach limbs and fingers? Etc. this course has a lot of potential to teach so much more. I don’t own Zbrush, but i can appreciate that this instructor uses this program as just a sketching tool. I definitely recommend this to get familiar with the brushes, and some insight into the program that was daunting for me. Maybe change the name to “Forger app tools for character modeling” or something, instead of Character sculpting and modeling.

I learnt so much from this course on how to use this app! although brief it does cover everything you need to know to get you started. I would recommend this course if you are a beginner in 3d or just want to know how to use this app! Thank you for doing it.

The course has all the information you need for starting modeling with forger, I would just recommend fixing the voice audio, is lower than the music so we need to be ajusting the volume always when a lesson it starts or ends.

I really wanted to like this course, because there is not a lot of online instruction for the Forger app so I thought this might be exactly what I needed. However, I do have some nits to pick. The musical intro and outro are way too loud compared to the instructor's voice. It blasts my eardrums during the music and then I can barely hear the instructor talking. I also felt like the course was rushed, I could actually get better instruction watching Youtube videos about the app. The instructor didn't cover features of the app that he personally doesn't use, so I end up with a lot of questions unanswered. The timelapses aren't really my thing either, I'd prefer a voiceover explaining what he's doing and why he's doing it instead of the weird techno music blasting my ears. The course had some hiccups as well, with some videos having the wrong audio tracks, but that was promptly fixed. Hopefully they will take to heart some of my complaints to make a better course moving forward.

I had never heard of the Forger app for ipad iOS before! This is such an amazing tool that I can use on my new iPad! I can sculpt anywhere now, and it's so useful that this covers all of the steps and brushes to get the results that I normally achieve on PC! It's really amazing the fidelity that you can achieve with these mobile apps on the go, it's great for me to be able to put some ideas together on the go. This course really is inspiring and covers everything necessary to get a high quality sculpt from this software. I am looking forward to future courses on some stylized characters soon!
