Netbeans is a  great IDE for developing in java, and then dive into the language itself. Along the way, we will cover topics such as: Declaring and initializing variables with a variety of data types Exploring  Basic Arithmetic operators Troubleshoot Compile errors Controlling flow with conditional code Creating Method Creating Event Handler methods Using Component controls and changing their properties

Was good fun and it was nice to see a steady increase in difficulty for the projects. The course is delivered at a good pace and by the third or fourth project, I was trying to race the instructor for getting the projects done. For practice, I ended up adding a GUI for the Leap year project and edited the Random Number generator for practice. All in all, it's a great course to get you going for writing Java programs with Spring.

The first java course that actually shows how to use a java project in the real world instead of just the terminal, and it's all explained quite well

The instructor does not have a correct knowledge of java. He refer's to importing packages. You are not importing packages yoiu are importing java libaries. Packages are folders that the programmer makes to keep ther files organised. Also he made a constroctor in the digital clock class and called it a method. would not recommend
