Instructor Details

Charles Mulic

Professional software engineer, hobbyist game developer, past Computer Science tutor, and occasional tutorial producer! That sounds more impressive than it is.

I've been coding in some form or another for as long as I've had a computer to do it on.

When I'm not doing that, I enjoy catching up on some shows, playing games online with some friends, and even occasionally going outside.

It's a good course to start the programming journey or refresh the basics. It just takes the right amount of time to complete. Liked the way of explaining the concepts. Would have been awesome if there were more topics covered.

Sometimes it gets so boring, and in my case I had to repeat many times some parts of the video because I couldn't get the idea. I guees it is bacause is the first time I'm learning programming, but I think he'd use more examples, is like always the same print and print and mooooore print, but anyways, It was a good introduccion and I'm grateful.

yes, it's a very basic course for total noobs, and i am a total noob, this is exactly my level and the pace of explanation is not overwhelming while also i readily understand what the guy said, so his explanation works :)

Thank you for this very helpful course. It just is confusing at times, too many different ways to do something simple. Maybe starting with the basics without too much additives would be more appropriate. Nonetheless, thank you for the time and effort you've put into making this course.

a really nice introduction, I actually learned the necessary to dive into Java programming. But if you are familiar with other programming languages it get a bit to slow, I tried to watched it 2x the normal speed but it made me too agited

Pretty detailed and easy to follow, I enjoyed it, especially because I was able to follow the examples on Android Studio. That makes this course the perfect intro before to jump towards bigger and more complicated courses.

It is a good course for beginners with some knowledge of OOP (e.g. Javascript). Besides, it is FREE. Yet, it does not go over details and, therefore, it becomes difficult to follow instructor towards the end of the course.

The course content and way the instructor explained was very good. It seems he stil has some more topics to include but didnt upload all the videos. Hence keeping it to 4.5 instead of 5 star.

It is a pretty good beginner course, but I found I had to re-run the videos numerous times to be able to keep up with the instructor and follow the examples provided and actually understand what was being said. It would be nice if learners were able to do a small project from start to finish, using all the lessons learned so I could get the workflow down a bit better. Overall though, a good beginner course for the $ spent. :-)
