[70+ HOURS] Microservices with Java Spring Cloud, Security, Kubernetes, Docker, SpringBoot, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Grafana

Our take
Based on the ratings of 1,653 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in May 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a 77-hour build that starts with a first Spring Boot REST API, grows into an e-commerce system split into microservices, and closes with a second project, a job application service. Faisal Memon covers JPA, PostgreSQL and MongoDB, Eureka, an API gateway, Resilience4J, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Keycloak with OAuth2, Docker and Kubernetes. The requirements assume basic Java and object-oriented knowledge, so it suits working or aspiring Java developers more than people new to programming. The description says it was refreshed for Spring Boot 4.
Most of the 1,653 ratings are good, with 998 of them five stars. Reviewers like the step-by-step teaching, the steady pace, and how many small details get explained. The complaints are about structure. Docker is spread over several sections, one reviewer found the Kubernetes section not beginner friendly, and another had to watch the monolith to microservices videos two or three times. One reviewer dislikes the filler phrases in the narration, and another wants each section's commands and SQL attached.
One reviewer working with Spring Boot 4 said the right configuration and dependencies took time to work out, especially in the fault tolerance and observability sections. There are no quizzes or coding exercises, so practice means following along and rebuilding things yourself. With 17,467 students and a May 2026 update, it is clearly being kept up. If you want a single course that goes from REST basics through Kafka, Keycloak and Kubernetes, it is a solid pick. Some parts may need a second watch.
Pros
- Step-by-step teaching that reviewers say makes hard concepts easy to follow
- Covers Kafka, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, Eureka and Resilience4J in one project path
- Updated in May 2026 for Spring Boot 4, with 535 lectures over 77 hours
- Bestseller with 17,467 students and 998 five-star ratings out of 1,653
Cons
- Docker and Kubernetes topics are scattered across sections, which breaks continuity
- Spring Boot 4 setup needed extra fiddling in fault tolerance and observability
- No quizzes or coding exercises, and one reviewer wants commands and SQL attached per section
I am beginner but it is so well explained i can understand it quickly
Labeled All Levels, but it assumes basic Java and OOP, and the Kubernetes part may be tough for beginners.

It was so much fun learning interesting concepts through this course. if i had to give some suggestions, it would be: 1. Adding a kubernetes indepth content, updated. 2. Adding notes for new users using Spring boot 4.x , as it required some time to figure out right config and dependencies. It was challenging but helped to learn a lot. Specially in these sections : Fault tolerence, Observability. Overall i would say, it's a great resource to learn microservices.

The course helped me deepen my understanding of the various topics covered. The concepts are explained clearly and in a simple, easy-to-follow way. One aspect I found a bit repetitive was the inclusion of an older (though still relevant and useful) version of the project, as it revisits much of the same content from a different perspective. Overall, I would still recommend this course. Thanks!

No Doubt the second Course of Ecommerce is totally interesting and up to the industry demands , I again request the author , to upload Notes for all the module , which is making us to get the summary of what we are learning and learnt . again I have to say there are some notes in some sections which are totally beautiful and helped me to make my learning with a concrete structure .

yes. if i reached half way that is 35 hours approx , it means your course does contain some value. and i would recommend this course to everyone.

So far, this is the best Spring Boot microservices course I have studied. It covers everything in detail, including InterService communication , Observability, Api Gateway ,Fault tolerance, resilience patterns, Asynchronous communication , Apche Kafka and Microservices Security with awesome E-commerce project.
By 08 Rupesh Borse on 1/10/2026
It was an excellent course, cannot say begginer friendly, it is best to learn industry standard features like grafana, zipkin, Kafka and Keycloak. Also explanation to some topics with analogies was very nice, but course needs some more explanation on inbuilt classes used in the code, it was confusing to understand why this class was used, other than that was helpful to learn new things. Anyone with knowledge of spring boot should try this to learn advance concepts

This course offers very valuable insights into microservices; however, if you have taken the instructor’s other courses, you will encounter some repeated content. This becomes especially noticeable if, like me, you take the e-commerce course first and then move on to this microservices course. Aside from that, it’s a solid and well-prepared course.

I wouldn't wait until the end of of the training session to rate this course. I picked on this course looking at the course content and I am glad to say that I am 100% fully good with teaching style of Faisal Sir. His In depth subject knowledge and hands on expertise makes you not only help you code but also understand the sequential flow from code's behavior point. This is one of the best course I bought and I am giving review only after listening to KeyCloak videos. I must say this course worth 100 stars. Thank you for the good work and sincerity in delivering valuables to us learners, Sir.
By Vishal Birari on 12/12/2025
Just a suggestion. You say this statement "over here" almost every 3-10 seconds. Instead of saying "over here", try to tell what is over here means, is it on "Postman get user request" or on "Idea some project's specific class file" or "browser", be specific. Still you are better interpreter of your own course. If you follow my suggestion, you will be the best one. You may use "over here" only few times, not all times.
By AbedElaziz Shehadeh on 12/8/2025
This course is so exceptional that I had to make an exception to my usual policy of rating only after completion. The content is outstandingly informative, impeccably structured, and delivers complex material right to the point. The use of a single, unifying project to apply all concepts, particularly the often-overlooked area of observability, is a major strength and makes the learning process highly effective.
