Too Fast.\nCourse starts on middle of a file\nThere should be a clear flow, starting with little examples, small code blocks

By Veronica Crowe on 3/27/2018

I felt like this course jumped around too much and did not give clear examples. I am familiar with JavaScript but it has been a while. I wanted a course that would refresh my memory about JavaScript concepts. It went into to many different aspects of JavaScript (AJAX, JSON, and JQuery) when it should have covered JavaScript concepts first than lead briefly into how those three things can be applied. The examples weren't very helpful towards the end of the course.

The course was short and sweet.

Everything was ok, but after lec 10, it's going too fast and not brief specially in the case of Jquery, AJAX and JSON.

Good Course

By Dan Mac on 10/30/2017

The course was great from a learning stand point up until about midway through. At which point it seemed some of the material (PDFs) and videos were mismatched. The rest of the content was rushed and a super basic explanation of other forms. \n\nThis course will just teach you the absolute basics of how JS works, in the first 8 sections. The rest of the sections are just confusing as if half the videos and materials were deleted, mixed around, and not put together again. So just listen to the videos to hear other applications of javascript.

Good

What I don't like about this course is not explaining communication with server via http request. Too fast moved on jQuery and AJAX and JSON, without firstly cleared the procedure of doing it with just Javascript (which is the name of the course, and what I hoped to learn here).
