Not Recommended for New Kids Yoga Teachers As a certified yoga teacher (Yoga Alliance, including Pregnancy and Kids Yoga) with experience in teaching, I enrolled in this course hoping to gain fresh ideas. While it offers a few new games and activities, overall, it was a disappointment. The course feels more like a promotional platform for "GoGo" products—that come at an extra cost—than a well-structured teacher training. Content is disorganized, repetitive, lacking essential guidance on age-appropriate practices. Grouping ages 3–12 together is not only ineffective but potentially unsafe. Children aged 3 need a completely different approach than preteens. A proper breakdown would be: 0–3 years 3–6 years (even here, motor skills vary greatly) 7–11 years 12–17 years (where teen-focused practices are crucial) The instructor dismisses note-taking by saying "everything is in the resources"—but it’s not. Lesson plans are only relevant for kids around 8+, and demo classes reflect that too, with no real examples for younger age groups. Overall, this course lacks depth, structure, and the developmental nuance needed for quality kids yoga education.

Sara knows what she is teaching. It is clear that she is an expert in her field. She really added great value to this course One of the best parts is that she adds downloadable resources to keep us on track with our teaching. This course not only shows us how to teach yoga to kids- but also the full picture ; the business side to it.

I am teaching yoga in the school that I work to 3/5year olds. Having the visual videos and selection of games has given me some ideas. However I do already have your go go yoga book which I purchased online, so it was nice that I not only chose a book but a course from yourself also. Thank you for the inspiration you have given me. Can I ask do I receive a certificate of completion from yourself as well as from Udemy? Thank you again. Jackie

This information is helpful and makes me realize how important yoga is for children in this digital world. I can't wait for the little ones to come in for the next yoga session I also realize that it would take time, knowledge, and patients to get those active little ones to focus and be mindful. I am very happy with the course this far. Where can I find music for kids yoga? And I am also interested in doing a little meditation for mindfulness at the end of the class. Is it better to open with little meditation to get the attention and clam them down before the class started?

Felt like I was watching a commercial. I do appreciate all the resources. The best part was watching the live video of the kids partner poses but that would have been better without the photographer popping in and out.

Love it. This is an amazing course. As this is created in very easy to understand the language I have learned a lot. I cannot believe that yoga can be this much fun. After this course, the possibilities are expanded. we will surely enroll for your other courses also whenever they come. Super thanks to you for sharing your knowledge and experience.

I'm practicing yoga and would like to involve my kids in. They like to climb on me, sometimes repeat but the whole practice is too long and boring for them. I liked this tips to make my flow a bit more kid friendly and funny. I found the most useful the demo lesson, where i could see how do kids behave and what to expect. The explanations are nice and clear, but i wish there were even more videos showing real life practice, expecially the games. Thank you for the cource and all the materials.

I am new about kid’s yoga, so this course gave me the basics of what it is and how it works. Got louds ideas what to do, how to do in yoga with kids. Wanna continue on learning more about it. The only minus for me as non native was English subtitles - very bad translation. Some of translation was so nonsense. Recommend to work with this part. However thanks for sharing ideas about yoga with kids.

I'm new to teaching yoga to children, and Sara's course makes it easy to teach by sharing lots of tips, props, ideas, in such a simple way. Thank you so much, Sara! The class at the end was beautiful. You are doing so much for kids by sharing all the benefits of yoga to all who are passionate about teaching kids in any setting. Teaching yoga gives kids useful tools to get through life's challenges.

Hi Sara, you truly have a passion for teaching yoga to kids! I liked the course; being able to read slides and have you talk through them in more detail. (It's also good that one section to another continues automatically without you having to click through yourself). I liked you going through your props and giving advice about using them. But I guess the most practical thing is watching your video of the yoga class. I did wonder, though, at some points while you were talking through some of the slides, the talking was cut short, and so I'm not sure if I missed some tips/advice that you gave. You seemed to be still talking when it suddenly stopped... and then another section started. Overall, it's a great short course. Thanks :)
