As someone who is completely new to digital painting, this was a great course. I know how to draw on paper, and I have always wondered if I should try doing similar stuff on a computer. Jonathans lessons was clear and to the point - however, a bit more enthusiasm when presenting would be appreciated, but that's just me being picky. Thanks!

I didn't have a tablet when going through this course. I feel like I would have gotten more out of it if I did, so I could try out the different techniques on the fly. However, I was able to do the lessons directly on the PC and draw with my mouse. It worked fine and I did learn a lot from that - but if I am pursuing this, I will definitely go out and invest in a proper drawing tablet. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my purchase of the course.

Nice, quick and pretty straight forward introduction to digital painting. It sure is different from sketching on paper, but I could see myself doing more of this.

I especially liked the "painting techniques" section as it can be a bit confusing when just having installed the Krita. Instructor is clear and easy to understand.

This is a perfect match for me. I had been going in circles, trying to find something at a level I could grasp. You have presented that. And the assignments add so much to my experience. There is a certain 'something' about your teaching style that is both relaxing and motivating -- I think you have a special gift and I thank you.

So far so good. Even I am familiar to digital painting I follow all the lessons in case of not missing if there is a detail info about ways of painting. I just like to see with real painting examples by seeing the tools and their futures to understand better when I wanted to paint a pic so I can remember easly.
