The course was good, but I have some comments. - the part of the course related to the Vue framework is obsolete. This part needs updating. - it would be nice to have a chapter of the course that would show how to authorize user (some registration, logging in, permissions...).

Vue.JS portion of the test definetly needs to be re-done. The .Net is OK also got a bit irritated as i was working on Windows and visual Studio but it got the job done. Some times Instructor uses short cuts so fast i took me a while to see what was done overall it was a good course just needs some tune up.

This is a great app "bootstrap" tutorial. Wes' takes you through everything you need to get an app started and ready for production. Most tutorials create "toy" apps that would never be acceptable for production. I also did the Goodbooks tutorial on Wes' YouTube account and decided it was worth checking out the full course!

Great course on architecture and full stack development including version control. Less half a star for the bad video resolution. I like how Wes makes mistakes/bugs and fixes them along the way which is a reality on software development unlike all other courses where they get it perfect for the very first time. lol.

Love this course! Coming from Java, and making a jump to .NET is so much easier with this. After looking at other courses on MVC this one is really clean, and shows a good pipeline- Reason I didnt give it full, is because I wish there was a bit more talk about some stuff in detail personal to the Language and .NET but can be easily found out or researched by some googling.

Whilst I've enjoyed this course and genuinely found it useful to give me a solid basis to start my own vue +.net core project, it's seems apparent that this is an early course from the instructor and he may be new to delivering such content. My main criticisms are 1. He needs to work on practising the narrative dialogue to go along with his course content before recording the final published videos. Very often he starts talking about something, gets part way through a sentence, stops, rephrases what he is trying to say and then sometime times has a third go at what he is talking about. This can make the flow of what he is saying hard to follow, especially if it's a topic you are struggling to grasp. 2. On a few occasions he pastes in code, starts talking about it, then the code is just removed and new code pasted in and he starts again. This is fine for dry runs, but this should never appear in the final course that people are paying to access. 3. Some of his explanations gloss over some of the detail on a topic, or his terminology is a little wordy in places. 4. As others have pointed out, some of the videos are blurry. Fortunately I have large monitors and could see text with the brightness turned up. As for the content, it's an excellent little project, not too over complex nor too trivial and I'd say it's pitched about right for an intermediate audience. However, I always feel any full stack course should cover authentication and authorisation as these are key topics that should always be covered. This is especially true as .net core provides a very solid implementation for this and it would have been good to see it included.

Great course. One caveat I can have is that a few of the videos, especially at the end of the course, looks like they lack some editing. The lector starts talking about a topic, interrupts it and then starts again with different words. Like he was testing how to approach the problem but then left the unused words instead of cutting them off of the final video.

This course is extremely informative in terms of engineering architecture and design principles. But in terms of structuring the code along it is below average, he often will use variables and classes before they exist, use IDE features to skip informative opportunities, and in the front end section he uses typescript as if it was javascript and not using any of the benefits as well as not following best practices of front end development. I would only recommend this to intermediates as they could debug as they follow along, this course is not geared for beginners.

Quite simply - a fantastic course. Wes, the instructor is pragmatic with his approach to teaching. He is concise with his explanations, the content is very well thought out and he is very active in the comments. The course covers a range of topics from API building, Testing, Frontend Framework, EntityFramework to workflow processes in regards to git. It's a great course - Well worth the money.

For anyone looking for a full-stack course that will teach you .NET core paired with a modern front-end framework, as well as unit testing and much more, I can't imagine a better course. Wes is among the most detailed, thoughtful instructors I've ever learned from on any development tutorial. He explains so much about the architectural design process and shares so many invaluable subtleties about building a full-stack business application that you just don't get with other tutorials or teachers. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in any of these technologies!
