Learn How to Build a Cryptocurrency Mining Computer (Udemy.com)

Though the course is dated 5-6 years ago, I learned a lot from it. From viewing more recent YouTube videos on the subject of building GPU miners, most information is still applicable. Jerad's teaching skills are excellent.

I have lots of questions about the right drivers for my Nvidia cards. I'm a bit confused about that. I'm wondering when this course was recorded, and if ETH mining is still practical.

Actually building the computer adding win10 was something I can do blindfolded. But The GPU Info is somewhere a road less traveled. So the GPU and Win 10 tweaks were worth their weight in Gold. Also the Wallet and Mining software was Titanium information. This class is a little old, I had to invest my grandchildren's future into MSI Gforce 1050 TI GPU's Also the Fan mount and screens he did not install, I have ordered 6 120mm 1700 fans I will mount across the front. I got the 1300wt PS he used but I also have a new 650 80+Bronze that I plan to use for all the extra fans and maybe 2 gpu's

Only minus is that it's old, made 2017. Linked items are out of stock (may be too old and they are not making them any more). But overall it's good. I know nothing about inside of a computer but even I can follow and understand what is needed

I am always interested about cryptocurrency but have not done anything at all to progress. This video I believe will give me a good start and enough knowledge to dip my toes on cryptocurrency. Thank you for making this course available to everyone.

It was a good starder course. I did learn quite a lot and it did hlp me build my first rig. The thing that I found after I finished the rig is that Windows 10 needs quite a few things turned off that it is running longer then about 10 hours. So that is one thing that I whish would have been in the course as well.

Great course. I know quite a bit about building my own personal computer, but hadn't built a mining rig, yet. Now I at least understand how. Next step is doing the cost analysis. Thank you so much.

good course, very to the point and gives details on how to set up and build your mining system, I wish it went more in depth of why to use one program over another or how to set up files instead of using his files, but they will definitely work.

This is a good course to introduce yourself to the mining cryptocoins. However, the first part of the course is confusing since MegaHashes per second is not precisely a well known term. Some research can clarify the terms but it would have been better to skip it or introduce the meaning of those terms. In general, it is great that somebody took the time to explain how to set a mining computer.

This material is at a lower level than my current expertise. Good for someone who has not built a computer themselves, but my interest is in the configuration for mining, not so much how to build a PC. I'll see what is covered going forward.
