Some of the core classes were out of order, which made it a little confusing. You were talking about one thing, but then the next video was about something else. Just a little confusing. Maybe you can rearrange them when you do an update. Wonderful information, easily understood, and at the perfect pace for me. Great Course.

After taking this free course, all I can say is that by far that is the best free course I've ever known. Thank you very much. I like Jill's in depth, clear and slow-paced explanations, and his enthusiasm as well. This course is so much better than many paid courses on the same subject.

I'm on section 7 of the series titled Appearance and the videos are out of order making it confusing when he mentions something that he says we already talked about but haven't yet in the video sequence menu. Section 13 Episode 50 doesn't exist. The instructor also mentions attachments and links at the end of the course/video and they cannot be found. Outdated and not updated=not worth it.

The author is a good person to learn from because he personally uses everything he's teaching. Lots of in-depth content. I found myself wanting some brevity and skimming sections that I wasn't interested in; but I guess that's okay. I feel like I can tackle a WordPress site.

I bought this course on sale, as I often do, on Udemy. It's always a bit of a gamble whether they offer much value, but this course was really really well done. It's a little out of date now, but still very practical. Really good presenter laid out in a logical clear order. I haven't finished the whole course yet -- I skipped the last section on adding e-commerce as I am not including that in my current site -- but will be coming back to it later. Thank you Jerad for helping me build my site!

This was a very informative course. I highly recommend it. The only downside I have to mention is the the demonstration screens are too small and unreadable. It was difficult to visually follow. Author needs to zoom in on items that he is demonstrating. Nonetheless, this is a must view course!!!

The course was easy to follow and very thorough. Great way to get started with WordPress. My only complaint is that the video quality wasn't that great. I have a 27" iMac and running at full screen made the content very grainy while running at regular screen size, specific items were difficult to read. Thanks for putting this together, this definitely got me off and running.

I am a new user of WordPress and I enrolled in this class to help become familiar with the workings. Overall the content was very good, the videos seemed to be pretty high quality production. A couple of things that kind of bugged me were that at the onset, the instructor says that the course is for new WP users and/or folks that have had a website built for them using WP that they must now maintain. By the end it seems like it's geared more towards the latter as it kind of glosses over some areas that I would have liked more information on - just a few more details on some of the areas like custom fields, etc. I was left wondering what they were for and did some of my own research as well. A couple of the videos seem to be out of order so that was a touch confusing when the next one started, and I didn't care for a separate intro video to each section - I just felt that it could have been rolled into the first video, although it may be easier to update in that format as new content is added. I really liked the class, and I am excited to start playing with the platform and see what I can do!

I'm new to Wordpress and so after installing it decided to take Jerad's course to teach me the basics. Jerad covers all the basic functions in great detail and goes at at pace which allows me to work along with him on my site. There is a really detailed section on Woo Commerce too which I found very useful. I'll be checking out Jerads other courses after completing this one!

Jerad definitely placed a lot of effort into organizing this course. His photography and video background are a great asset to his presentation. If you use his course in one window and have a WP website that you can follow in another window, pause and actually use what he is explaining in the course, you will learn faster and have your sites up and running sooner. Thanks you for the time and effort and I would recommend Jerad Hill's other courses based solely on this one.
