Course Description

If you want to really master Cinema 4D and create next-level projects,
Mograph and Fields should be on the top of your list of things to learn.

Mograph is perhaps the most important reason Cinema 4D is the default
3D-animation package in many creative agencies.

This super-combo can create projects that simply weren't possible(or at least very difficult)
before the introduction of Fields. It's a game-changer.

In this Cinema 4D course, you will learn how to transform from one shape to another using Mograph and Fields. You can easily apply these techniques to a wide range of other projects and styles.

To follow along with the course, you’ll need a version of Cinema 4D that has the Mograph module and Fields. In other words, Cinema 4D R21(or higher) or Cinema 4D R20(Broadcast or Studio edition).

We learn best by doing, so this is a hands-on, project-based course. We will go through the lessons step by step.

Some prior knowledge of Cinema 4D is helpful, as I won’t explain the most basic aspects of 3D applications.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll cover:

  • Mograph Cloner Blend Mode

  • Plain Effector – Modify Clone

  • SDS Weight Tag

  • Axis location

  • Shader Fields

  • Using Extruded Objects in the Field’s List

  • Delay Modifier Field Layer

  • Rig Building with Expresso

  • Using Alembic Files

  • Lighting

  • Camera Animation

  • Fusion Shader

  • Variation Shader

You’ll have access to all the project files to make it easy to follow along. However, I encourage you to build your separate project(s) and try out variations of what we’ll build together.

it's straight to the point .. really i appreciate the flow of data structure .. i came from houdini background, i try to catch some abstract Mograph without spreadsheet, vex, attributes..etc Thanks for the effort it's very good .

the 720p resolution is not sufficient for the detail required to be seen in C4D. It should be a minimum of 1080. The compression is horrible, very poor resolution and poor compression job.

The instructor's knowledge, organization, skill and communication abilities are all stellar. Each module is crisp and well-defined. As an instructor in a related discipline myself, I really appreciate this quality in a teacher. Top notch!

What a great teacher! I learned a ton from his courses. The projects that he walks you through made me fall in love with Cinema 4D and inspire to learn more and more. I recommend you get everything that he puts out there.

a little bit difficult for me. But maybe I'm new to Cinema 4D. Still learning

By Alejandro Ayala on 7/8/2020

Profesional y muy bien explicado cada paso del proyecto. Se explica como implementarlo y por que se implementa cada una de las funciones del proyecto.

By Owen Williamson on 4/13/2020

Very good. Clear and concise, the few small deviations from the main project were informative and rewarding. The project itself was very educational as it gave insight into some of the finer details and shortcuts within Cinema4D. Thank you very much.
