It's a good refresher course for people who have previous experience with C++. However, if you want a deep understanding from scratch then you would need to take a different course.

If you want a place to start learning C++, this is the right course. I've already programmed in C and C++, but I needed a refresher course, then I've decided to check it all (I've bought the Learn and the Advanced course). I recommend it for anyone who wants to learn to program and have already some programming or good logic notions. For complete beginner, maybe it is not the better choice, but can be if you need or want to move fast. I've loved it! As long I just need to refresh some stuff and move on to Advanced course. I'm an IT pro, and I already develop with Python, Go, SQL and some other stuff for some years...There is no shame in look for help to learn faster and better!

I am a programmer trying to quickly get an overview of c++.
This course reminded me of those sleepy college lectures taught by professors who are just doing it because they have to.
I would have given it a 2 star if not for the following.
Other cons:
- Material is outdated. Uses old c++
- Q&A section is dead. No question gets answered.
You are better off with some free YouTube video.
