Course Description

There are many C++tutorials for Unreal Engine or other game engines out there, but most just assume you have a solid background in C++, or they cover the basics quickly. This is because Unreal Engine C++is already too complicated to cover learning an entire programming language plus Unreal Engine programming in a single course. This course is designed to teach you C++from the ground up, starting at absolute beginner level content and working up to advanced level techniques. Thiscourse will prepare you for programming video games in Unreal Engine, Cryengine, Lumberyard, or any game engine. Unreal Engine is not used in this course. This is a course on the basics of C++.

I love the classroom approach. Makes me feel like a real student sitting in class listening to my teacher. He explains the material very clearly, and even made me a lot more comfortable using pointers and reference than my actual college professor ever could.

Does a great job at showing examples and various loopholes in the more complex programming concepts. I have been studying C++ for game dev from a book and this set of videos was a great supplement to that in aiding to clear confusions I had.

Its actually a very nice course about learning the basics about c++ programming oriented to Visual Studio for UE4, exactly what I was looking for, the teacher Stephen Ulibarri is a pro!!
Muy buen curso donde aprendes las bases para programar en C++ dentro de Visual Studio para UE4, muy bueno si quieres empezar a programar, el profesor Stephen Ulibarri es un mquina!! ( Para las personas que no saben ingls les ser difcil porque los subttulos slo estn en ingls y a veces no concuerda con lo que dice).

Great course for a complete beginner! I will repeat the course though because it got harder in the end and i couldn't follow along. It takes some time to really grasp all the consepts. But i don't think that this course could be any easier than it is.

Includes a lot of abstract OOP-mechanics, which is great for new coders.
Still includes good info for veterans of other languages, though some subjects (such as types of casting) could use some more in-depth info.
