STL: Forward list, Initializer list, Array, Unordered containers
Design: Several principles and patterns are embedded in the homework & projects
A huge set of Quizzes, Practice, Homework, and Projects
2 styles of homework: Algorithmic (problem-solving) and applications
Several software design concerns are embedded in the homework.
So you are getting introduced to Software Engineering & Design Patterns
Several quizzes to master the concepts
Clarification: The core intentions of this course to provide very strong introduction to C++. Specifically up to the 6th project. After the last project, the course introduces some further modern C++ syntax (no quizzes/homework in this part). If you are new to C++, there is no course that competes with this one. But, if you are expert or target working with C++ in the market, you will need to good deeper after this course. A useful reference is "C++17 - The Complete Guide" book. Not that, this course provides some C++17 coverage but not all of it. However, the course provides pretty good coverage for C++11/14. Please consider the table of content if you are not new to C++ to satisfy your expectations.
Building Skills: Practice, Homework, and Projects
One unique feature in this course is my education strategy:
Explain, Administrate & Challenge
Each video smoothly explains a simple concept(s)
Typically followed by easy to medium practice to administrate the concept
Then typically followed by an easy-medium-hard set of homework questions to challenge you
Extensive homework from easy to medium to hard to help to build the skills.
Most of the practice/homework questions are unique in this course
Programming questions are mainly from my competitive programming experience
OOP questions are mostly invented to achieve several goals:
Mastering the OOP concepts
Enforcing a lot of design heuristics & OOD
Preparing you for design principles and patterns
Small-to-large set of projects to build up project building and design skills
Solutions to all of them.
By the end of the journey
Solid understanding of programming concepts using C++
Mastering the target 4 skills
With the administered problem-solving skills
You can start competitive programming smoothly in Div2-A/B Codeforces
Smooth start in Data Structure course
Smooth start in Algorithms course
With the administered project-building and design skills
Smooth start in Software Engineering course
Later, smooth start in one of the technology tracks in frontend or backend
More career options such as games or embedded development.
Don't miss such a unique learning experience!!

The most critical difference between our courses and others is ... going beyond knowledge: With us, you get really skilled. The extensive amount of quizzes, practices, homework, and [real] projects ranging from easy to hard will reshape your skills.
I have been teaching, training, and coaching for many students in Computer science and competitive programming.
I had been competing in ICPC programming competitions 2005-2011 (ranked 3rd/2nd/2nd in regional ACMC ICPC and World Finalist in 2011). After that, I played roles such as contestant, coach, problem setter, judge, and chief judge.
In addition, I have a mix of experience in Software Engineering, AI/Computer Vision Research, and Algorithms Design. I am a Ph.D. holder from Simon Fraser University in Canada.

One of the best C++ courses I’ve taken so far. The course is very well structured, and the explanations go beyond just learning the syntax — they help you understand what is actually happening behind the code. The content builds a strong foundation in C++ and problem solving, which makes it especially suitable for anyone who is planning to start Competitive Programming or participate in programming contests. The teaching style is clear, detailed, and focused on building real understanding rather than memorization. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to build a strong C++ foundation and take the next step toward Competitive Programming.

This course brings together all the essential fundamentals you need, supported by practical exercises that reinforce key concepts and strengthen your programming skills. It guides you step-by-step from a complete beginner level all the way to understanding and applying object-oriented programming (OOP). It offers a solid and structured pathway for anyone looking to build strong foundations in programming.

With all due respect, the course focuses on pure problem-solving skills rather than teaching the syntax and common idioms of C++. The content is somewhat Socratic, focusing mainly on challenging the learner rather than direct information delivery, and the illustrations are a bit complicated compared to other materials. It serves as a reminder that being a brilliant programmer does not automatically translate into being an effective educator.

Quality and Excellence As our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty loves that when one of you does something, they do it with excellence." This course, in general, stands out for its quality and excellence in simplifying the information and delivering it to the student. This course has four pillars that I always evaluate each course according to them. They are depth, width, representation of information, and the exercises. Actually, it's not only a C++ course. Dr. Mostafa has discussed a lot of topics beyond the C++ syntax like OOP, Design Patterns, Modern C++, some information about the industry, and many other useful things. We ask Allah to bless Dr. Mustafa, the instructor of this course.

Pros: 1) very good projects to build along with learning. The home works are also very good and most of them can be very hard. 2) very short videos no time waste. 3) the instructor is a very good person. he will give you tips on how does a good programmer think and solve problems. Cons: 1) in some sections explanation is really very very short like file and streams sections. because of this the ask fm project become very very hard to solve.

This is the best C++ course you will ever find. I can say this in certain terms because I have enrolled in other courses on Udemy and Udacity. C++ is one of the hardest programming languages out there; it is difficult to learn without a mentor. If want to self-learn C++ then this is the course for you. Highlights: 1. The course starts with the basics and ends in advanced topics in C++. Therefore, you do not need prior knowledge of C++ or programming in general. 2. The course instructor Dr. Mostafa will act as your mentor. He will reply to your question within 12 hours. He even responded to off-topic C++ questions. 3. In addition there is Discord channel, where you can interact with others you have enrolled in the course. They will help you as well. 4. There is a wealth of homework collection problems ranging from easy to medium to hard. They are classified as such. All solutions to the homework are provided. The hard problems are non-trivial to solve - meaning you really learn C++. 5. The course has 6 projects – in each project key C++ concepts are emphasized and so does the level of difficulty gradually ramp up. In project 6, you will end up writing 1500 lines of code. The projects are the jewel of the course, but you must be ready to put in the hard work to complete all the 6 projects. Like any journey in life, your C++ journey will have to continue beyond this course. Be assured Dr. Mostafa has equipped well for this journey. It was an amazing experience for the lack of other superlatives.

The course is hard. And seriously made me better at solving problems. You need to do lots of googling and take your time. Your goal should not be to finish this course as soon as possible but take your time and finish it in a slow pace. Because the information in this course is already packed and scattered between HomeWorks. Some homework projects took me a week to complete full time but I learned way more than other courses. Some subjects hard because he tries to cover some industry practices you need to do lots of googling and reading. Overall good experience, I hope he releases software engineering course.

I'm delighted to have made it halfway through this course. This course is up-to-date (as of 2021), and the material is both comprehensive in scope and clearly explained. In addition, the instructor has a clear passion for both the subject and the learners. Everything (the lecture style, the homework, and the support network) has exceeded my expectations, and there's clear evidence of a solid and pragmatic teaching methodology from the instructor. In essence, it looks like a student-led course (student-led learning is the most effective way!) where the instructor doesn't allow the student to get lost! The instructor's trifecta of: 1) excellent up-to-date knowledge; 2) a clear passion for sharing this knowledge; 3) a teaching methodology that is both challenging AND accessible to the learner; is the key to the success of this course. There is a solid support network on Discord as well, and (in case there is any doubt) I would recommend this course highly.
