Labeled "for 2021" - but the libraries are outdated. Versions aren't mentioned, so if you run from a stable node branch, or most recent versions, you'll get errors and need to downgrade because the libraries haven't been updated. This is NOT for 2021. You're going to do a lot of debugging, tweaking, and adjusting.

Wow! I like this too much. Specially . The Teaching method, Coding structure and Debugging. Looking forward for new course in which I learn how to deploy this code to cloud(Aws,google app engine , etc) and send data to remote databases like mongodb , mysql etc. Thanks!

very good. Only improvement i would say is that there is a lot or repetition. Typing out the same starter code quite a few times. Maybe speed this part up after it has been covered once. That way students can progress more steadily after each video instead of taking a couple of steps back. Very well explained though.

This course was very helpful in getting me started and feeling comfortable writing a web scraper for the first time. I liked that he showed how to use a couple different tools and how they could be used on multiple styles of websites. He explained his trouble shooting well which is always much appreciated.

Wow right to the point. Great course. None of what I have learn so far was useless. Am I'm usually a self learner and do not have the patience to listen to classes like that, I usually wants to go straight to coding after the first few lessons. But in this case, I find that the information is relevant and I wants to keep on listenning. Goob Job !

Would be nice if there was another section on deploying the node scraper. Lets say I build something useful. How do I save the data to a data store (for example firebase). How do I make the scraper run periodically (let's say once a day). What would be the best/easiest way to deploy the scraper to production?

I like how he explains the Scraping method. I like how he explains Puppeteer, Cheerio and Request libraries. And I think this course would improve your level of NodeJS. Also the Nightmare JS library is very interesting. I've found very interesting the scraping process.

Grohs does a pretty good job and I did learn and improve my skills. As other students have pointed out, the text is hard to read so, you have to focus really hard. I have some experience with request and cherio, but this was a good intro into puppeteer for me. The NightmareJS section ended up being a little dry. Overall would recommend for the investment.

5 Stars for this course. It truly is the best scraping course on the market. Here's my 5 Stars Score breakdown: 1) Practical: This is project based so you can see how these techniques are actually used in real-life using multiple techniques (npm request-promise, cheerio, Puppeteer, NightmareJS and others) and why you would choose one verses the other. 2) Quickstart: The very first video he'll show you in just 5 minutes how to scrape a website. Awesome stuff. 3) Doesn't waste time: He doesn't waste time. Get's straight to the point and there's no fluff. 4) Valuable Tips: Many many valuable hard-learned lessons that he gives you. I would never learn them on my own and just the tips alone will save you time and money. 5) Workflow: He shows you how an experienced developer plans a scrape, diagnoses the inevitable issues that come up when trying to reverse engineer a web site, and then shows you how to solve these tricky problems. It's done in many cases in real-time so you can see the problems and how to solve them. He also is very responsive in answering questions. 5 Stars for sure on this course

This video is good for Scraping Kids. It lacks lot of real world scraping problems and solutions. There are no words about... * IP Rotation * Captcha Resolving or tricking * How to bypass Web Firewall (Incapsula, Securi, Cloudflare) etc. Also the author talk too little about Proxy, which is most important component in Scraping world. I hope the course get improved. Not worth this time. Thank you.
