It's a good course but seems to be aimed heavily at musicians and composers rather than Audio Engineers like is stated in the description. I'm still enjoying it, it uses an older version of Logic Pro X than I have and would be worth of an update but is still very comprehensive. I've used Logic for quite a long time but this course covers things I've never thought to look into.

A very well conceived course, with lots of good tips, but I wish it could detail more some items. I wouldn`t say it`s a Logic X beginners course, but I highly recommend it!

So far, the course seems good, but seems like more of an overview than a granular tutorial on how everything in the program works. I haven't jumped ahead yet, but it seems to focus a lot on MIDI instruments. I use Logic as my main go-to for recording as well as sound design. I'm looking for advanced pointers on automation, scoring, bus and group mixes, and use of outboard rack effects and large outboard MIDI setups (I use a 16x16 MIDI interface, two racks of MIDI gear, and a Korg Triton keyboard). I will continue the course all the way to the end, broken up into small segments. My opinion may change as I get deeper into it. Maybe the instructor structured his opening so that he wouldn't scare away beginners. I'm more of transplant from other DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic 9, GarageBand, and SoundEdit 16. I own Cubase, Ableton, and Audacity, as well, but rarely use them. I want to get as fast with Logic Pro X as I was with my previous DAWs. Also, my project studio has grown considerably over the last 5 years, so there is much more that I want to able to be able to do from within a single DAW.

Good organization, pace and delivery of material. I like that the lessons ("movies"?) are relatively short and specific.
