Course Description

This course takes you through all aspects of Terraform v12 and v13, from initial setup to a sample real world deployment in Azure.
The course begins with setting up the training environment, installing Terraform and configuring Azure. As the course develops will look at various aspects of Terraform and how we can use these to build our deployment. Alongside this we will use various resources in Azure, I will explain what these are, how these work and then we will deploy these using Terraform. Just set expectations this course isnt an Azure course. So while I wont go into any great depth on each Azure resource I do provide an overview of the most salient features.
This course has been developed to be as practical as possible, most of the lessons are follow along in nature. Overviews of key areas of Terraform and Azure Resources are provided for reference.
Terraform v13 specific lessons have been added in Section 8. These naturally follow on from the prior sections.

Anyone interested in learning Terraform specifically with Microsoft Azure.
Anyone interested in learning Terraform using multiple providers, Azure being one.

I have used this course to jump start myself into world of terraform. I am happy what I got.
I think all important topics are handled. I would wished me that some best practices (e.g. never ever put passwords in your code) become introduced immediately and not few lessons later.
Big plus is, that the instructor updates the course with latest and greatest.
Contra:
I have really missed all the lessons as git repo tagged by lesson number. I don't liked to typewriting, stopping the lesson, rewinding and correcting my typos... At least the lesson 8 contains the code attached that comes from lesson 7.
Anyway good course.

It would be better if you can show inserting the values based on required and optional fields in terraform documentation.

One thing that would REALLY help is to show the architect diagram throughout the training session to pinpoint and show what object or infrastructure that we are standing up/putting in place to complete the end-goal objectives in this project. I have to build the mental image in my head on what we are working on or trying to accomplish.

At the beginner level, I expect to see a bit of detail on all the commands. For example, how do I get an Azure subscription, how to use the extension. I am a DBA working in RHEL environment, trying to learn using Terraform on Azure. I expect a bit more detail on how to get the basic tasks and I don't see adequate instructions on that.

Very good training on the fundamentals of TF coding. I would've liked to have seen more advanced coding. Such as creating both immutable and transferrable/re-useable code. This would be useful in my use case where I need to build out 100+ similar tenants for a global org. Also, more info on the capabilities of TF in general and how it's used in an enterprise org setting. For instance, a brief introductory overview of TF Cloud which I don't recall being mentioned.
