Most of this course was about using the terminal command but very little about Ubuntu features....So you would better call it " LINUX TRAINING TERMINAL" Anyway i do not regret being enrolled to this course because sooner or later I will have to be proficient in command line interface. Thank you

Great course! Followed along on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with no problems. To me, the course progresses from general Linux usage to more specialized cases. The latter provides ideas for future ventures into Linux as a first timer.

Curso começa desde o básico e entre em detalhes mais avançados do Linux/Ubuntu, incluindo rede e segurança. Seria interessante atualizar para versões mais novas do Ubuntu. O curso está na versão 13 e a o Ubuntu já está na 18.

A little boring to be honest. Some more crucial aspects should be done more in-depth (building packages, troubleshooting logs to resolve issues) while others could be left out (wordpress and Apache configuration, python ruby scripting). I know some tutorials from this tutor that are really good. However this seems simply uninspired.

The speaker covers topic methodically and with sufficient detail. It is still quite early in the course, but my initial impression is highly favorable.

It's a comprehensive course that reviews many of the features of Ubuntu. I have already gone through another similar course and this one covers many of the same features of Ubuntu with a few that are in addition.

The course was full of a lot of good information. As a "Noobie" Linux user I felt the videos seemed to rush through the various topics as I had to stop and rewind to finish my notes and enter the commands. During the file management section I had to stop and create test folders and files in order to better follow along. It would have been nice if the instructor had a preset test folder available for download. I really enjoyed the section on installing Apache2, MySQL, PHP, and Wordpress as I would like to get into some web programming. All in all I am happy with the information / knowledge gained from this course.

While this course does contain some good information the instructor does not seem to have his lessons planned out ahead of time. Also many lessons seem rushed and only give you a cursory view of the material. I would describe this course as more of an overview rather than a detailed instructional course.

This course is well organized and the speaker is easy to understand. There are moments when the speaker assumes that you understand certain things about Linux. For example, there are times when he will show how adding chmod +x will allow a file to execute, but he does not first show what the r-w-x settings are for that file. Since I am familiar with these issues, this was not a problem for me, but if you are a novice to Linux, you may have to slow down in these sections. Overall, this course is exceptional in its organization, thoroughness, and presentation.

Found this to be an excellent course since I have a background in several OS's and wanted to learn more about Linux Features and Functionality. Instructor was very clear and the time spent on each topic was just right. I would recommend this course to anyone having a understanding of Linux in general and wanting to move to it for daily use.
