I took the previous Linux course for corporate jobs, and I enjoyed it so much. So I decided to take these practice exams to test my knowledge and Linux skills. Overall these practice exams are solidifying my skills to prepare me for advance Linux system management and the RHCSA certification. Thank you !

Any practice exams are without a doubt beneficial for someone who is studying for the RHCSA exam. However, there are issues with these exams being updated properly for RHEL 9 and consequently should be used with caution. I also have doubts about the instructor being a subject matter expert on RHEL 9. I read the reviews about people complaining about the questions not being updated. The instructor responded to every single reviewer asking for more specifics and stating he would update the material. Well, he did and he didn't. It is very apparent the instructor "updated" and overwhelming number of questions by adding "In RHEL 9, ..." and nothing else. So when going through the practice tests, I always had to ask myself if the questions and answers properly reflect RHEL 9. It is very apparent the instructor chose NOT thoroughly update the material to reflect RHEL 9. Frankly, all the instructor needs to do is go through the questions himself to see some of the poorly worded outdated material, rather than spend the time asking reviewers for specific questions. Just one example (out of many) of this would be the 4 or so questions on creating VDO. In RHEL 9, VDO comes packaged with LVM2. Furthermore, 'vdo create' is no longer a viable command in RHEL9. This is just one example of many, where I feel the content isn't as precise/updated for RHEL 9. There are other issues with the material, such as repeated questions in the same exam, solutions being incorrect and questions being worded incorrectly making the solutions incorrect. For example, when you say "archive the contents of" that should mean the files and directories inside the folder and not the parent directory holding the contents as well. There are enought issues on wording of questions for me to bring it up. With that being said, the material is still useful for learning RHEL 9. Just be inquisitive about whether the material is applicable to RHEL 9 or not. I do feel I learned a lot and that it was worth my sale price op ~$16 US. My advice to the instructor would be to go through each question and make sure it is worded correctly and up-to-date for RHEL 9 as you represented in your review responses and course description. This will prevent people from doubting that you a RHEL 9 subject matter expert. Thank you and apologies for the harsh criticism, just being honest.

Outdated material. The second question, and I see stuff about network scripts; which are deprecated. I've endured few other questions too and decided against continuing. Having the questions and the solutions in the same page is also a huge mistake. Overall I've found it inadequate and will not be continuing with the course.

all of these practice tests are really helpful. The questions are detailed, and the answers were right, which made me feel sure about taking the RHCSA exam. It's obvious that a lot of hard work was put into making these practice tests. I highly recommend this.

By Pedro Pablo on 9/24/2024

The design is nice, and the practice tests are difficult but encouraging. What makes this course special is that the answers are explained clearly and in an engaging manner. It made the hard subjects easy to understand. This is a fun way to prepare for the RHCSA—who knew studying could be so enjoyable.

O conteudo é muito bom, porém o LAB por diversas vezes se demonstra inacessível por indisponibilidade de recurso na área, ou como ocorreu em outra oportunidade, onde foi solicitado "redefinir" um dos servidores, e a ação levou demasiado tempo

I purchased this course today. And I didn't have any idea about Linux before purchasing this course. But Once I've enrolled and taken my 1st practice exam, it has cleared my basic concepts and I've completed my 1st practice test with 100% success ratio. the test was very interesting and got me engaged.

This course is essential for anyone who wants to become a Linux system administrator. This course is covering all essential topics required for the exam. The instructors are knowledgeable and guiding you through complex tasks until you grasp them. I really like this course.

By Rok Temnik on 12/7/2022

Great course and topics are really relevant to what you should expect on the exam - passed the game with the help of this course but additionally note you will need more material to understand fundamentals in Linux than just Q/A approach which is meant just to test your knowledge prior taking the exam.

By Kejdi Memo on 8/30/2022

The course is great as it gives you real examples of what to really expect in the RHCSA,however the instructor has made ready the answers for us.It would have been great to give us like 5 minutes for a question and offer us a terminal to do that and only after the time pass to check ourselves if we have solved it correctly,I know we can try these in the virtual machines we create but it would just be better if we get the real feel of the exam, nevertheless a perfect course for all candidates of the RHCSA.
