I started this course with having zero knowledge of Li-ion battery .It is much detailed, with simple explanations. I would recommend this course those who are interested in pursuing the career in Automotive Electric vehicles domain. Finally, Thanks Sebastian Weiss for creating this wonderful course.

Should have covered battery aging in more detail including how lithium plating (rev/irrev), SEI cracking, rock salt layer formation, CEI layer growth and AMI works. You should make part 2 (advanced course) which cover this and also includes equations and P2D modelling in depth.

The course has helped me understand the process of making the lithium-ion batteries in general and had refreshed and informed much on batteries that will be used in the future across different industries. The material is nicely put together and very much nicely executed.

Oui cela correspond à mes attentes, malheureusement maintenant j'ai 10 000 questions qui sont de plus en plus techniques, j'ai un peu un sentiment de frustation mais c'est tellement technique que je comprends le point de vue pris !

Well prepared course content. The only recommendation I can make that the instructor speaks so monotonously. So, it causes distraction during long listening sessions. I suggest the instructor speaks in a more interactive manner to increase engagement.

Should be more example. Too much theory. Should have 1 chapter about Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis for Battery Cell. Battery Cell have many failure mode and risk is very important. need indicate better design to improve product and reduce risk.

I would have liked more equations for the modeling of battery losses. For example, you showed the activation potential losses having a similar curve to the Ohmic resistance, but did not go into detail. Also, an energy loss curve seemed to show that more Coulombs were required to recharge the battery without explaining why charge is being lost.

It was a very nice introduction to the field of Li-ion Batteries. well organized and explained. I already had good knowledge of electrochemistry and was looking for something to introduce me to the Battery Field, which was a nice start. I could not open the chapters 47 and 48. would be nice if you could recheck to see what is the problem. Thank you Zahra
