Master Test Management with HP ALM tutorials /Quality Center (Udemy.com)

I was expecting to learn more about the functionalities of HP ALM. The functionalities were presented at high level and not very well structured. It's important to explain the concepts and to show HP ALM in a structured manner. The requirements should be explained before explaining the test plan. The demo project was empty. It would have been nice if he would have prepared a few examples to complete the LIVE demonstration.

very poor content. the instructor knows very well how to use the tool and has the needed experience in regards to the course topic but there is no effort for providing more explanation and better examples about test management process. what helped me, that I have previous knowledge of the test management tools. but any new participant without previous knowledge will learn absolutely nothing. I do not recommend this course! and the worse is what mentioned in the course title "Master Test Management with HP ALM"!!!!!

I was bringing out my notepad to write down the details on the different types of testing and the real world examples that the mentor spoke of and then the video just finished.

Very short course, it only explains a few bits and pieces, but it won't tell you how all things tie together! e.g. what are "test runs" that you mentioned briefly? What do you make of "requirements" after you create them? Basically, you create them and then what? This course is incomplete to say the least, and you don't get to know much about testing at all.

Nice for a first look, especially since there is no charge. I'm new to HP ALM but am an experienced software quality professional. Very clear regarding potential uses of ALM.

Simple and basic overview of ALM. Perfect course to get familiarized with the modules and test management workflow of ALM.

Although I am familiar with HP Quality Centre, this course is certainly not an "intro" to ALM as it assumes a good amount of knowledge by the user.

This course is great to get an overview, it does not go too deep in the funcionality of ALM but is what i was looking. To refresh my knowledge because last time I had hands on ALM was 2 years back. I will not pay a full price for this course. Still is a good option to learn the basic modules and tabs in ALM. ALM is not that complex to use. Look for this course if you want to know the basic stuff, hands on, and fast.
