Quality Assurance is a must need in today’s era of technology. Meeting the expected quality of an application has become an essential factor for organizations. This is where software development and software testing concepts come into play. Organizations need to follow certain quality assurance standards in order to survive in the market competition. It is must required to understand software development life cycle before executing software testing concepts. We often ignore software testing fundamentals and manual testing concepts which is hugely harmful. IT professionals can never reach the expected level of success without a strong foundation in software development and software testing concepts. Also, it has not been easy to find project oriented and real-time training in software testing fundamentals. However, we all need to learn the basics of quality assurance and testing before jumping into any sort of automation. In this course, we took a hands-on and step by step approach to make it easier for IT professionals to master software testing core concepts. This course includes basic and advanced QA training videos with practical examples of different aspects of testing including software development life cycle (SDLC), overview of specific roles and real-time work environment for a software tester, different types of testing, creating comprehensive test plans, and test cases.

Great, I have never seen such a great course, it is an amazing very short, and sweet video. Could you please provide me all in one very short and sweet course covering Selenium with java/python, TestNG, Cucumber, API testing, and one nonfunctional like JMeter. There are thousands of my friends and students looking forward to seeing this course as I mentioned to you above. Many thanks and you are such a star-Prasad

I feel the instructor is a bit rushed on creating this course. There should be more slides on the presentations. For example, Different Types of testing. The instructor just explaining some of the tests on the fly and sometimes cannot organize his thought or repeating the explanation. Also, I was expecting more on how to write Test Plan and Test Cases. It would be nice if the instructor uses Jira or Microsoft Azure to write test cases. And the title is a bit misleading, it should be something like "Software Testing Overview with Test Plan". Because everything seems to explain very briefly. Other than that, it still helps me refresh my knowledge in how to create a test plan.

The teacher is brilliant, he will give you a nice overview of Software Testing. It will allow you to bring relevant and structured content in an IT Team, Project Manager, Business Analysts and Developers will respect you. But after that, you will have to master some software testing tools such as Selenium, Robot Framework, HP QTP or JMeter depending your business context. Otherwise, with all this knowledge and no technical knowledge you will be taken for a liar.

I'm in the middle of the course. The videos often cut before the end. Please make sure you send good videos or that they upload properly especially as someone teaching quality in software. The concepts are explained in a very straight-forward way and rather easy to understand. But I wonder if it is because I already know some of the concepts or if it is really simple. I think it is a great course to introduce testing though. It also helped me clarify a few notions I was not too sure I understood.

The lecture develops logically, but the concepts are not formulated concisely and elegantly. I'm am looking for a little more intellectual--and linguistic--precision. Some of the examples used to illustrate key concepts might have been better chosen, and felt strained. Also, especially when it comes to test cases, I would have liked more examples, and instances of more difficult testing conditions.

Overall it was informative but there were some annoyances with the sound (pounding of the keyboard, background traffic noise), off topic comments (soda taste in bottles vs. cans), the disability mentioned was Deaf & Dumb (could have left it at deaf), saying October for a date and then typing 08. I also wonder if there is a copy write issue with not only showing those websites but that you are showing old versions of those websites (for example, Homes.com has changed).

Instructor did not prepare materials in advance - made shoddy examples of test plans, etc. while talking by opening a blank document. Some terms were defined vaguely. Often, when describing steps in a process (and typing those steps in Windows notepad), he would continually insert steps between those he'd already entered. All-in-all, not a pre-prepared presentation, at all.

It was a quick and comprehensive overview of manual testing. The Pro's -- Overall It was 2 hours well spent, The Con's -- I think that the course would benefit from re-recording the lessons because some of the topics crossed from one video to the next, but i think that is because of an older udemy imposed time limit, not instructor decision. Some of the documents were created at course run time but it didn't break the flow of the videos. Overall -- For a quick look, This is what I needed, I will look at the other QAEversity courses available for my next step in testing.

Short and informative. This course is chock full of introducing, as well as TEACHING the fundamental building blocks of Software Testing. The instructor gets right down to the business of understanding SDLC and the roles of the QA Engineer right from the gate. I gave it five stars for the content, organization and knowledge of the instructor. He was very engaging and clear. The video quality should have been more high definition, but it was readable, just not HD sharp. This course overall is a winner.

Going into a company as a Systems tester, I was taught their process and dealing with their system. I wanted to learn more about how software testers do their testing, so I can better myself in the way I approach my method of testing. This course really helped me understand each process of the SDLC and has explained the different types of testing in a hands on approach. I will be using what I learn in where I work. Thanks!!!
