Do you want to learn a new programming language?
How about the Rust Programming Language?
Rust is becoming increasingly popular in system-level programming due to its memory safety and performance. It stands as a strong competitor to C++ and is perfect for those looking to elevate their system-level programming skills. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced programmer, Rust offers a modern and powerful toolset for your development needs.
Learning Rust opens doors to high-performance, safe, and reliable system-level programming
Why Rust is making waves in the tech world
Here’s the latest buzz about Rust from the industry:
Rust developers at Google are twice as productive as C++ teams
Source: The RegisterGoogle’s shift to Rust programming cuts Android memory vulnerabilities by 68%
Source: Google Security BlogMicrosoft is busy rewriting core Windows code in memory-safe Rust

Rust is proving to be a game changer in system level programming, with leading companies adopting it for its unmatched memory safety, performance, and productivity benefits.
2023 Stack Overflow Developer Survey findings indicate that,
"Rust is the most admired language, more than 80% of developers that use it want to use it again next year."
"More respondents want to continue using Cargo(Rust's official package manager) next year than the top competitors."
Can Rust be the future of embedded systems development?
This course provides a strong foundation in Rust programming, which can be valuable for embedded software developers transitioning from C
Why should you consider learning Rust?
There are many answers, but here are the important ones.
* Memory safety without garbage collection
* Better concurrency without data races
* Safe and unsafe code
* Performance friendly abstractions
* Rust is designed to be as fast as C and C++
* Awesome Tools and Ecosystem (Cargo (the package manager and build system), rustfmt (code formatting), clippy (linting), and a comprehensive standard library.)
* Built-in testing support
* Support for key Object-oriented programming principles

It's a nice course. it's rich of information and in depth of the rust programming language. However, there are many aspects that should be improved, like the structure of the material, the way it's organised some elements feels like there is discontinuity, a lot of slide are not properly concluded, some slides have some mistakes, sound quality sometimes starts to degrade, sometime we may here a phone ringing in the background which is kind of annoying, the Iterator section is too long relatively to the other materials (some reduction are to be considered in favour for things like asynchronous programming). In general its a good and highly informative course but its quality it's to be reviewed

The teaching is highly unstructured. Many time, the tutor is displaying a code and saying "don't worry about it. we will talk about it later".... Most of the chapters are like that. Too much theory without explaining the basic building module. Randomly jumping from one topic to another with no correlation between the topics. Waste of money. Will look out for another course.

Before taking this course, I had no prior knowledge of Rust or its core concepts. As a beginner, I found the course very thorough and helpful, and it gave me a much clearer understanding of what makes Rust unique. The course mainly focused on Rust’s fundamental features and concepts, such as ownership, data types, error handling, and life times, rather than on applying them in a specific practical context. While this provided a strong foundation, I would have appreciated more hands-on exercises to help reinforce the material covered in the videos. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a solid introduction to Rust.

Great course and explains concepts really well. This helps quite a bit with harder to understand concepts in rust like lifetimes, lifetime elision, dynamic dispatch of traits etc. This course takes great pain to explain how things work behind the scenes, which is great for understanding tough concepts. There are also a lot of good exercises and examples to further solidify the concepts

Great course to get started on Rust from scratch and learn the core concepts. I liked the way the course is structured and the instructor's quality lecturing. It will be great, if the following additions could be made: 1. Multithreaded programming in Rust. 2. Macros 3. A section with a real project that could explore most of the concepts here, including building a complex library/binary crate. This will especially help to cement the concepts learnt in the course. Thank you!

This is an excellent course on Rust fundamentals. The instructor goes into details of memory menegment and everything is explained at a lower level than most other courses. The instructor is also responsive to your questions. My only complaints - I wish instructor had provided more exercises. I also wish visual studio code was used instead of rust playground throughout the course, as VS Code displays the data types of variables which helps in understanding. I think the instructor is still woking on lectures on Interior mutability as Refcell, Mutex, RwLock, Cow are not yet there. I hope instructor adds entire Concurrency and Async sections to the course. Also, a section on using most commonly used 3rd party crates like thiserror and tokio would be very helpful. Overall an excellent course!!!

Great course, the teacher makes easy to understanding the complexity of Rust All the core concepts of the language were reviewed in the classes, the chalanges/exercises were a lot fun and useful to help to mantain the fresh learnt concept. When I finished it it had 170 classes but I'm pretty sure that they'll keep sending more classes about some important topics about the language, like async, multithreading and macros It would be awesome if in the end they implement some kind of medium size project, to gather all the concepts in a single section Anyways, great course Fastbit Academy, you guys nailed in this course!!

What an excellent and high-quality course! Kiran Naysk has given a great gift to people like me who want to learn rust for the first time. I was impressed with the way he explained the low-level concepts of RUST like ownership, generics, lifetime, etc. in a concise core explanation with graphics and tools to make it easy to understand. Along with this, the way he took an incremental approach to coding by using the Rust playground, Visual code and Rust Documentation tools afterwards along with the practicals was particularly impressive. Kiran Naysk's passion and expertise are evident in all of her content. Just like the title of the course, it's like having a mentor by your side, guiding you along the way. This is a great course that I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to learn Rust. One thing I would like to ask Kiran is to develop additional content on Rust, for example, more advanced Rust courses on Asyns, embedded, distributed programming, etc. Thanks so much again, Kiran!
