Masterclass of Realistic Drawing and Shading Human Features (Udemy.com)

This course is an incredible learning experience! It was the first course I took from Ava, and it truly helped me improve how I observe and draw facial and body features. From eyes and noses to hands, ears, and hair—each section is clearly explained and supported with practical exercises. Ava’s teaching style is so relaxing, detailed, and motivating. I enjoyed every moment and gained so much confidence in my drawing skills. Highly recommended!

The instructor is a genious at shading, but the drawing part does not live up to a master class at all. When drawing hands and feet free hand the proportions are way off. The same goes for face side view. You won't be a master at realistic drawing after this. But again, the shading part of traced images are good. So, I guess it all comes down to what you want from this course.

I found this course to be exceptional. The instructor shows all the different ways on how to use all the drawing equipment. Also, she has the hands of a hand model which helps one to see the distinctive moves one needs to use the hands as a vital tool when working with different drawing mediums such as graphite, conte' powder and other similar or like ingredients. Also, the holding position and moves of various instruments which are set aside to be shown previous to starting each project. This helps if you decide to speed-up the video, "note the change when switching from one drawing instrument to the next and how it is held." It blends in with the music and helps one register this into the right side of brain. These instructions are designed to be reviewed in building ones observational skills in a way that is conducive to the flow-state and is enjoyable. I plan on taking more courses from this instructor. There is nothing to lose and much to be gain. Much Kudos to her performance and abilities.

This is the best drawing class I have ever had in Udemy. I have purchase quite a few drawing classes in Udemy so far. The instructor in this course really dissect every technique to clear and simple steps which I can apply easily. I have learned so much here. And Ava has provided so much thorough course content and she respond to every question and give feedbacks to students' work. Highly recommend!

I have taken many classes with Udemy, I have to say I this course slowly and still havent finished because I dont want to rush , I have thoroughly enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone from beginners to someone who can draw. I never thought I could do the amount of art I have done since taking this course. slowly slowly, as they say you cant rush a good thing. Easy to listen to love the music . I am so happy I took this course and when i do finish I will use it over and over again just incase i forget something. yes i needed this course to know more about other methods relating to realistec drawing. Ava Moradi was explaining in detail, what i likde most is the eyes and nose and face drawing section, the ears & hands, arms , feet could have been better. Overall an interesting course , Ava is an expert on shading techniques. Thanks to Ava Moradi and Udemy team.

I really enjoyed the course with regards to shading and rendering, how to use brushes and all the tools. I was a little bit disappointed because when the teacher does the render on the drawings, the basic lines of the drawing have been traced, I wanted to see those lines drawn, because that is a fundamental part for me.

For someone who doesn't have a background in drawing this course offers everything. Personally I have taken some drawing courses before but even if you haven't this course has everything you need. As a reminder I would suggest that even if you're not good at drawing you can simply trace of the drawings and then shade them. That not only saves time but gives you the confidence that you're moving forward. As someone who draws every day I'm glad to have enrolled in this course. And as a bonus you've a teacher who takes out the time to answer any question that you may have. The only downside is that I wish there was more.

I think the instructor is an excellent teacher and a great artist, however I felt some of the lessons could have been cut shorter and explained briefly such as watching eyes for 2 hours or more, I fell asleep, however I am glad I took this class because I did learn some things about painting I did not know before and I would recommend this class especially a beginner
