An awful lot of technical background so far, with little hands on benefit. I wasn't able to access the downloadable zip file. When I tried to open it in Photoshop I got the message: "couldn't complete your request because it is not the right type of document." The first lesson should have been on how to download and access the necessary files, with reference to a troubleshooting link for difficulties.

Must learn this Mastering Adobe Photoshop course...its amazing. :)
By Ilaria Mancini on 7/19/2020
Very helpful and easy to follow for beginners. However the course covers an older version of photoshop (2014) which means that some features have changed/changed location. New 2020 features are not discussed in this course, of course.

This is an amazing fundamental Photoshop course with an awesome instructor, Andy Anderson. Andy's teaching still is incredible. He talks to you in a friendly conversational way. Every video is short and to the point. This course is never boring or tedious. It keeps you excited to learn more as you go through the course. It's easy to follow along with Andy as he shows you the features, projects, and shortcuts. Also, there are many great shortcuts in this course that will help us work faster. I highly recommend this course to any level student, from complete beginner to intermediate. I'm sure even advanced students will pick up a few tips with this course. The course is taught in Photoshop CC 2014 version. However, I'm using Photoshop CC 2020 and still was able to follow along. With competing this course, you really have a very rounded overview and understanding of Photoshop, which will help you in learning a lot quicker from other Photoshop courses.

Honestly, this is the best course in Photoshop that I have taken. I should have done this course before I had done any other course. This is the best course to take to get started in photoshop. This guy takes you from a truly beginner to a well grounded individual in photoshop, I would like to do more courses with him. Everyone should begin with this course. It is more than a stepping stone to more advance courses. I highly recommend this course.
