Java 8 Topics is well structured. While I find it too theoretical at times, it provides a good starting point.

I'm half way, and so far has been very enjoyable. Covers tricky topics in a friendly way.

The examples given were well explained but there weren't enough of them. Usage of Java 8 concepts in a real world example would have been very useful.

This course does assume a lot of prior knowledge. A lot of information is being presented very quickly, but I am keeping up for the most part only because I have coincidentally used some of the things being mentioned.

Instructor is very Knowledgeable, he knows the things in and out, he knows the why and also has a knack for teaching. He can clearly express himself and bring home the abstruse concepts. If he is listening, then he should take this as encouragement and bring in more courses covering all of Java or whatever he likes, because we like him. Please provide more examples and show more code while explaining things, otherwise this course is excellent. Overall its good, the instructor should provide more courses covering all aspects of Java development, I for sure would learn from them.
