This is a free, 54-minute introduction to Simulink built around three small projects: generating and exporting a sine wave, modeling a Celsius-to-Fahrenheit equation, and wiring up an if-else condition with logic blocks. Seven lectures, no quizzes, one assignment. The instructor pitches it at people who have never opened MATLAB or Simulink, and that is exactly who it serves. About 35,500 students have enrolled and it holds a 4.6 rating from 2,104 reviews. Think of it as a taster rather than a course. The syllabus shows nothing beyond the basics of placing blocks, connecting them, running a simulation and reading a scope.

Reviewers like Ryan Ahmed's delivery. Several call it clear and easy to follow, and one student specifically praises the bit on exporting scope data to the MATLAB workspace and plotting it there. The complaints are consistent, though. The most common one is that it is too short and too basic, with several people expecting more examples or harder projects. A couple could not find the promised downloadable zip file. Others mention his verbal tics ("we're gonna do, basically"), sound levels that vary between videos, and a webcam shot of his face that sometimes hides the screen. Roughly one in eight ratings is three stars or lower.

It was last updated in June 2018, so expect an older Simulink interface on screen than the one you install today. Next to the other engineering picks on our list, this is the quick free sampler. It works as an hour spent before a paid MATLAB course, and a couple of reviewers say they are eyeing the instructor's longer Simulink course as the follow-up. Take it if Simulink is completely new territory. Skip it if depth is the goal, because there is none here to find.

Matlab simulink giriş için iyi bir eğitim. Yalnız videolarda ses seviyeleri değişiyor. Bazı videolarda ses seviyesi yüksekken, bazı videolarda düşük olabiliyor.

Other than some repetitive phrases like "we're gonna do, we wanna do, basically" it is educational but sometimes this repetitiveness is really irritating and prevent from learning the actual thing.

One of the best introductory courses I have taken so far. Very easy to follow along. The instructor has a great delivery style. I already feel so comfortable with Simulink. I couldn't find the zip file to download on the course page.

Really knowledge providing course and I would highly recommend others to go through this course. If anyone wanna learn simulink from scratch, this course worth them the most but I think this wont suits better for those who are intermediate in Matlab or Simulink

by adding to different scopes, each individual scope must disply output, but here only one scope worked, if we need both outputs together, what the we need to perform and how can we distinguish the scopes

This was a very good first course for Matlab/Simulink. Dr. Ryan is very engaging to and works at a pace that one can keep up with while following along in Simulink. It only takes 30 seconds of watching the course preview to know this is going to be a good course. I highly recommend it to others interested in learning a little bit about Simulink.

This was an excellent introductory course on Matlab with Simulink. It covered a wide range of Matlab skills including how to use the script, how to use Simulink blocks and most importantly how to link the two together. I think that the only suggestion that I would make is to provide some explanation about installing Matlab in the beginning. There were a lot of different options in the installation process. I am not sure that I downloaded the correct package. It looked different than the version that the instructor was using.

Yes it was very good. He went over the basics very nicely and left the door open to exploring the other building blocks. I would reccomend that he discusses how to get the information about the other blocks. Can this be done by using the help command in MATlAB or is there another way?
