Course Description

The full form of MDX is Multi Dimensional eXpression. This is used to query OLAP cube. It means you can select or retrievethe data from OLAPcube using MDX . In this course i have used SQL ServerAnalysisServices technology to fetch the data using MDXqueries.

To make it more clear i can say , we write SQL commands to select the data from the database . In the same way we write MDX queries to select the data from OLAP cube.

I learned some MDX here and there mainly trough the reference manual, but some things didn't really click and I couldn't find a solid course that made it all coherent. I hit a solid dead end on an MDX problem recently and decided to search again and was very pleased to find this course. It is a complete course that explains the key concepts and the functions quite well.

Don't listen to guys reviewing this course bad - production (sound, video, slides) sucks but this guy know what he's talking about. It's much better than overproduced courses with very little content.
