Great course! Good, in-depth content presented in an engaging and useful way. I really appreciated the instructor's delivery and the examples that supplemented the content presented. The assignments are good, too. They enable you to use what you learned, and they aren't ponderous. I now have a much better understanding of microcopy and how it fits into the user experience. I think this course is a great value for the money.

Interesting, well-paced course for those just starting out in the world of UX writing. As others have pointed out, the presentation isn't always super engaging; it could stand to have more visual interest besides just screenshots and the presenter's face (lovely as it is). And I'll echo what people are saying about the intro/outro music being loud and distracting. It would've been helpful if each module included a downloadable summary, as I spent considerable time taking notes and creating my own screenshots. Although, this did help me to internalize the information better. All in all, a great primer course packed full of insights, tips, and real-world examples.

For a newbie in the field of UX writing, this course helped me with all that I was seeking. The carefully constructed examples are a big plus - makes learning that much simpler and faster. Go for it if you want an introduction to UX Writing.

Meirav presented the material in an easy-to-understand way. I could easily follow along. I wish there were more exercises after a lesson, perhaps two or three instead of just one. I also wish that I could have quicker feedback and even a quiz after each lesson to ensure I knew the material. Also- a final project could be cool, where you incorporate each of the lessons that we learned. Thanks for a great, informative course, Kinneret!

The content is good, but this course would benefit from having two examples of microcopy to work on. All of the assignments are based on a fake website with a snappy, hip, fun-loving tone. It would have been good to compliment those exercises with a more serious and direct one. The other downside is that grading is slow. Several months later, and some of my assignments still haven't been peer-reviewed. While this hasn't stopped me from finishing the course and there were answers that helped indicate how successful I was at meeting the requirements immediately after submission, the long delays to sometimes low effort peer-reviews has had me forget what the task was about to begin with.

I enjoy the courses and the resources offered, but there area few things that could be improved with the lectures and other random things. One thing that didn't affect my rating but really drives me nuts is the intro/outro music. It's SO loud and circusy to where it doesn't seem professional or fit the vibe of this course. It's really out of place. Please change it!!!! Another thing is that sometimes the main lecturer is not super engaging to listen to. I think it would be okay to switch things up showing more examples of what she's talking about, or adding in some sort of illustrated people or just something different, versus staring at her face the whole time. I think practicing how to be a bit more engaging or lively would help keep my attention more.

This course takes an insightful leap into providing UX writers like us with the much-needed attributes to succeed at our jobs. I know the art of tailoring my words to add value to a user's journey. Thank you, Kinneret and Merav.

It was exactly what I needed! I still think I've got a lot of work to do, and it would be nice to have some guidance on how to get a portfolio together or use tools to do mockups like Figma or Balsamiq, but at least I got a good idea of what the different kinds of microcopy are, good examples, and some practice. I think I can probably get a portfolio together using some of my work, or at least take what I've learned and come up with another hypothetical brand/app to do that with. It delivered as promised, just would've liked a more comprehensive class :)

This is a solid intro for someone like me who knows a LITTLE bit about UX/UX writing, but not much. Great intro to key vocabulary, and I appreciated the mentions of helpful books and articles. The lessons helped me see the value of microcopy, and the exercises felt applicable to on-the-job problems that will always need solving. I was also able to see how my skills as a copywriter/content creator might transfer to the world of UX writing. It is same. Same but different. One thing to improve: Please change the intro music to something less sad circus-y. I'm tryna get a job as a UX writer, not as depressed Tilt-a-Whirl operator.
