Great course! It expended my knowledge and thanks for sharing it :)

So far, Relative volume adjustment could be done better. From what i see on youtube videos, putting all volumes at inf and setting the relative volumes from the kick and most important instruments to least important instruments seem like a much better way than this method

It's well explained and informative. Though mixing is different for every track, you will get the idea on how should you approach.

Obviously the instructor is a good mixer but Id prefer it if he spent more time sharing his philosophy and the whys of mixing...
I had to go back and change my review. The videos at the end of the course are pure gems. You can hardly find somebody speaking on the mids/sides ratio and the importance of checking on mono compatibility. Thank you

Cool

Just finished the course. It's super thorough. This is my first class on mixing&mastering and I feel like it's a great introduction to the art. Highlights: using reference tracks from great mixes to help comparison. Using freq analysis plugins to compare levels between reference tracks. Overall mindset in mixing. Also, the bonus 2018 content does a great job clearing up how to get a mix to sound great in mono as well as stereo (hint, 3:1 ratio of db from mids and sides). Great value! I just wish the track we were mixing was a bit more interesting to listen to.

really really good course for the price, i'd 100% recommend this, the only thing that i think its missing is explaining some basic things like M/S EQ, Limiting, Compressing, etc, it is really hard for begginers to understand this.Besides that it is a amazing course , and i learned a lot from it

There are some moments I get lost with all the tweaking when not much is being said. Generally this is a great look into the mixing and mastering process!
